As the brother of a Marine I found this dong the closest thing to what loved go through while their loved ones are deployed.

The only people failed to be mentioned are the extended families, brothers sisters, cousing Aunts and Uncles.

I love my brother very much and I was just as wrecked with emotions as a mother or father would be.

Please don't forget the sibling of a deployed person, they matter too.

As for Alex and his family...his mother has return and is doing fine. They are now living in Texas all together again.

Thank you for this film. I am a Navy Mom, and my son is forward deployed. Currently he is at sea, and recently had an accident on a ship deck, luckily he was spared. He did have some injuries which have kept him off the deck the rest of the cruise. But, it is by the Grace of God that he was spared. AMEN!

arubub, thanks for your comment...i'm pleased to advised you that nobody died in Alex's family. Alex is a teenage boy who was waiting for his mother to arrive back from Korea where she was deployed for duty. She arrived back home in Texas in June.
