Well the russians which are considered "very slavic" have 50% of the R1a1 hromosomes.

Modern Bulgarians:

40%- mediteranian (tracians,elins and so on)

20%- slavic

5% turkish (usualy not ethnical bulgarians but emigrants)

the rest are little numbers of nordish , kumanic, and asial hromosomes.

Hehe I don't know I want to learn more about it so thats the reason why I was asking. But I watched other movies such as Bathur or something thats all ancient Turkish names.. I knew alot of Bulgarians that claimed the same. But someway I like Bulgaria and I want to know it (I'm Turkish)

@Sellos23 Actually Bulgarians were a traveling nation .. really long ago we were part of Persa ,and we became traveling nation ...history also tell us that we somehow were near to Afghanistan and we were great friends with the Huns even when they were invading Europe they had bulgars fighting with them . We are not like turkish ,they just inslave Bulgaria for about 500 years . (BTW about Bul. being some kind of percians it's still new and not 100% proofed fact :)

It's anything but new and it is a prooved fact. Besides linguistic & cultural similaritiies, DNA analysis shows exactly that. G. Rakovski said: "we are aryans, and our name BolgArians prooves that" !! it was not until comunist era that the official history of our ancient origin was falsificated !
