@NeneDaIsh I enjoyed the position that I chose. I worked in my school's Learning Center so I was able to get extra help when I needed it, do my homework and get any reading done that I needed to while I was on the clock. It was very laid back and they allowed me to work around my class schedule.

@braydenbeautiful It will be interesting if you think the same after you finish your first year. If being a hot girl makes a difference to the professors, that's a problem. If you are talking about socially, I'm sure it has its benefits but there's so much more to college. I remember feeling pressure to dress a certain way but after I found my crew, that became less important.

Things we haven't seen yet. More foreclosures, commercial realestate bubble, gold bubble,and the currency crisis. Remember the more stimulus snd bailouts they do destroys the dollar. That's why you see gold so high now. Don't ever sell your gold cuz it will sky rocket soon when are dollar falls.

When economic crash is over it don't matter if you went to college or not we will be 3rd world country poor.

I don't think college is a good idea right now unless it's a good trade like the medical field. Make sure you don't get into dept and then you can't find a job when you graduate. I know new grad nurses that can't even find jobs so pic your profession very carefully. Don't worrie about your dream career just worrie about working.

I just applied for work study but im still not sure how it really works can you please explain me a little like what do i have to do to get started i know that work study is to work at the university but im not sure how do they give u the job do they choose your job or do you get to choose?

@sexystar373 Ask an advisor in the financial aid office where to find the listing of work study positions. At my school, they had different levels that had different pay scales. The higher your pay scale the less hours you have to work to get the full amount of your work study allotment. Find out what happens if you don't use have of the money in one semester (does it roll over to the next semester)? I still had to interview for the job so look at a couple so you have options.

@lovelori10 Many campus jobs hire workstudy students. If you have workstudy as a part of your financial aid, they work on campus. Many of the jobs pay a varying rates just like off campus jobs so research if they have higher paying ($10-$12) positions on campus. It makes it easier to get to work when you work on campus and there are times when you might be able to get an hour to two in between classes.

Now did you use your work-study money to pay off what you spend on your credit card?

and is freshman year in college too early to get a credit card to start building credit?

Use whatever income you have. If you have an off campus job or work study, either is fine to pay the card. Just remember that the card can be used as a tool to build credit or to destroy your credit early on. Only purchase things on the card that you can actually afford. Make sure you get a card that lets you pay it off each month early (before interest) without penalty. Freshman year is not too early. Just have to be responsible with the card.

I didn't. I did this look as I was on my way out the door. I used colors from the coastal scents palette. I wish there was a way to post pictures on youtube so I could show you which colors in the palette I used. If you want, I can recreate the look and film it. Just let me know.
