It probably represents the Chimeras in the game, the way nature is mixed with machines.

It represents a theme of the game, Nature VS Technology. Nature = All the animals that lived before pokey's intervention, and all human and magypsy life. Technology = Industrialisation of tazimily, and the chimeras.

Wood = Nature

Metal = Technology

One problem, in SSBB, New Pork City is floating, but in Mother 3, you get the final needle underground, Nintendo tried to mimic New Pork City so how can you get the needle if the city is floating?

Well, they were at the top of the 100 story elevator, and they want down pretty far, but not far enough to have gone down through Empire Porky tower and out the bottom of the City, Porky knew the needle was there and was just effing with their heads and wanted to beat Lucas up so Lucas could helplessly watch as the masked man pulled the final needle. :P

if i can recall there was an elevator or trap door if you'd prefer when porky sends you underground and even though its not in brawls version of new pork city there might have been a chaft or hole leading out of the city and underground towards the final needle i do also like the other explinations.

For example, I was rated down for saying that they shouldn't have had so many clone final smashes. Contructive critisicm is bad now? Common sense has failed me...

I know. I ESPECIALLY agree about the Final Smashes. I mean, come on! Be a little creative! Well, let's see, Ness has PK Rockin' and Lucas has PK Love, so with a little imagination, they could actually have different final smashes. What about the other characters? Well, what about Falco? He's supposed to be an ace pilot, so why is he using a Landmaster? And why couldn't Twilight Princess LInk turn into his wolf form so Toon Link's Final Smash could be original? It's just laziness.

Speaking of which, why can't we do special Brawls online? And for that matter, why can't we change ANY of the options on the "play with anyone" online choice? What, does Nintendo think we'll change the clock to parts of the numbers in our phone numbers? They delayed it so much, yet it doesn't seem to have that much effort put into it.

a) Gyromite and Stack-Up

b) I never really thought of Smash Bros as an all star showdown. It always seemed more like a celebration of Nintendo's history, sort of a playable museum with characters, items, and stages as exhibits. You find familiar characters that you immediately understand how to play and discover oddities that you might never have known otherwise.

c) Mario is in about 200 games, Sonic is in about 70 or 80.

I think its meant to represent how nature and Porky's demonic plan entwine with each other, he believes that a "robotic" future is what he wishes to create, and that will be utopia, but however, Lucas fights to stop him

if it wasn't obvious before, I believe Lucas is meant to represent Nature
