HOLY CRAP!!! That is one tall MOTHA PHUCKING Building!!! Although the plans look very Beautiful and all the towers are strategically placed I thinks it's a bit excessive!!! I just hope that all this OIL money isn't being wasted......The Arab world is RISING (LITERALLY) LOL....Great Video!!!
Salam alaycum! i'm filipino and i consider abu dhabi as my second home. the locals are peace loving and friendly and one of the nicest people on earth. i work here for 3 years now and find it a nice place to live in. proud to be one of it's development components in design and construction industry. masha allah!
Never compare UAE to Egypt and other Arab countries, Those countries are victims of corrupt regimes and capitalism is not the target of Al Qaeda. Its USA and the west only who blindly supports the useless state of Israel for more than sixty years. Now one can attack us because we have strong security and above that Allah security, beside don't judge Muslim movements before seeing how they will do, don't be cross eyed matching Al Qaeda with all Islamic political groups.
@Oqab11 Therefore "Allah Security" supports Jihad and the Iranian Fatwa. Essentially you are saying all Musilms are protected by divine intervention, even terrorists groups (Al Qaeda, Al Shabaab) and the corrupted nations of the Middle East (Yemen, Iran, Syria). These groups and nations may be shameful, but they are a product of your own religious text: the Koran.
someday Al Qaida will attack buildings in Dubai and Abu Dhabi...why? because they see capitalism written all over....Al Qaida will see them as traitors, hopefully Al Qaida gets wiped out from the face of the earth, but the civilized world need help from the Arab world! do you see what is happening in Egypt? the new "brotherhood" attacked the Israel embassy...why? because all these "youth movements" in the Arab world hate the USA, Israel and capitalism!
Abu Dhabi shouldn't focus on building the tallest building but on productivity so that it will be the real home for others and a prosperous one.The region is still in various kinds of problems majorly related with market and jobs. It's all for the lack of proper planning.Remember that in order to progress one of the most key component is productivity which isn't focused so effectively than building buildings. But all advanced countries focus on this thing .Also you should think about Islam.
This society appears to be very materialist... With all this wealth, does the government of Saoudi Aribia help the rest of the world--at least thos neighboring African countries that are starving. Please tell me it does.
These giant projects just bring deficit. Improve the quality of life and international tolerance. Attract tourism, business, and immigrants. Don't just try to show off with big buildings that prove nothing but corporate greed. Break stereotypes and spend your money wisely. A lot of people think oil rich cities just waste money. Invest it and prove them wrong.
At least Abu Dhabi and its vision can be achieved and I'm sure of that because they have ambitions and can achieve what he has done, such as Sheikh Zayed may God have mercy on him. Had a dream and was ambitious to make Abu Dhabi a green haven and actually make the desert into a green haven
Abu Dhabi does not focus on having the worlds tallest or worlds biggest. Thats Dubai ... Abu Dhabi focuses on future of great living and how to stay on the top of the league .. thats why Abu Dhabi own 10% of the world
This project is probably cancelled by now...

How the hell will people transport with all of those building and islands in the way, you'd need like 4 cars and 6 boats to go to work.
