Hey Ranger, just wondering about your version of the A&K Masada from Airsplat.

I got the exact same version, yet I received,

-A lower receiver in which could not fit the handguard pin all the way(so I can just pull it out)

-ONLY an orange tip flash hider, which came with a crappy hex screw(or whatever you call them) at the bottom which I could not remove, preventing me from buying the SCAR/ACR type quick attach/detach silencer flash hider causing me to have to paint the flash hider.

@lawyerxsinxdarkky Also, the pins in the full receiver were completely crammed in, and takes an excessive amount of force to remove. In fact, I couldn't even get to gear box...

@lawyerxsinxdarkky to remove your flash hider you have got "cook" it off, it probably has been glued on. You want to soak the flash hider in warm water then use the hex screw to remove the screw, then use a pair of pliers over a cloth on the flash hider to unscrew it, then clean the threads of the glue and your good to go. *Careful when heating the flash hider, you dont want to warp it, thats what i did on my SCAR, but now i have a Zombie Killer foam insulated silencer :3

@FutballFTW14 Honestly, when I wanted a Masada, I was on a tight budget, and I think that would be the only reason someone would pick the A&K. ARES/PTS version is a slightly updated version, (with the charging handle moved forward) 2010 edition of Masada, has better internals, and is more compatible with accessories.

@rhaliburton872 Looks like a Magpul AFG (not sure what generation it is), a Laser and Light combo, and an Trijicon replica. For the rails, look around for MOE rail segments. These will probably be your best bet to mount accessories on to the MASADA handguard. Or you can just buy the MASADA RIS handguard too.

@cocojcairsoft The gun you bought doesn't define AirSplat. You could've bought a KWA M16 for all I know. I know JG M16's that last for such a long time. But AirSplat exclusive merchandise is usually bad, and their customer service is the worst. They might end up sending you the wrong item and tell you it's what you purchased.
