  • I don't know ASL, so I turned on the cc and viewed the text. I really feel like I've been to school! :-) Your vlog was very informative and educational in a lot of ways, but I don't know that the earth is millions of years old, but perhaps is much younger. It was my first quake, too, and like you I knew right away what it was, especially when I saw the trees swaying outside my office window in DC! Thanks for taking the time to make the video! God bless.

  • @friendofman Glad you enjoyed my vlog and felt that you benefited something from it. As for the Earth being millions years old, it's been accepted in the scientific community that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old. If you were referring to the eastern part of North America, then I don't know how long ago this part of the land was formed. However, you could tell that the Eastern US is much older than its western counterpart by looking at the mountains of both regions. Thanks for the comment!

  • I had to post this on my Facebook wall as well. I have a few friends that know ASL so I'm sure they'll enjoy it.
