How come when I use my gel, it only stuns them :P

This works perfectly BUT I can NEVER get the Stun a Henchmen one, no matter how many bits of gel I put on the walls & floor.I think I need Auto Prox. Detonation but ive finished the main game and I thought all the gadgets were unlocked then, If I do need to use APD does anyone know how to unlock it?

The challenge SAYS you need to use auto prox. detonation, and you should have it in challenge mode....

If not get it in your playthrough first then.
