It's a nice clip but... no bodywork going on here. Way too light for any change in tissue to occur. Actually it's ridiculous. This is Spa massage with a woman who knows the name of muscles. Good for people who are not into sports or who have no issues.

@astrialkil a trigger point is a small area in the muscle that if it gets activated, it will cause pain. It can cause pain in a wide area of the body if it's bad enough. Pressing on this trigger point releases it and ends the pain.

@astrialkil Trigger points are the same for everyone. They've made a map of them or something. Apparently these trigger points correspond to the acupuncture/pressure points in TCM, Shiatsu and other SE Asian massage/traditional therapies.

I don't know how they match up with Indian ayaveda (sp?). There's an entry on wikipedia, anyway

@astrialkil just fooling around.....a trigger point is a spot in the muscle, a knot, that can get larger.the bigger it is the longer its been there...its sore to the touch, and pain can travel to other places when one touches it. the spot isnt getting any blood or oxygen supply, thats why the knot forms...you have to press on them to relax, make the knot go away, deep breaths helps while its being done..
