They're a bit too young to be able to clean themselves and they messed in their crate and got it all over their fur so that kind of needs a proper cleaning

Actually you two are part right. Kittens do dislike water but that is a thing that you have to do to wash them. But after awhile they will get used to it.

They don't mind it when they're kittens, and I think if you keep giving them a bath every other day or so, they won't hate it when they get older
