  • Something odd about this video.

  • the world whipped davids ass, hes not who he was,

  • tomorrow i turn 50....this brings me back..and says what i have to say...thank you DAVID..love you always

  • I loved this song....

    thanks for sharing! <3

  • On my computer, they play the first half of the song, the the video is the last half of the song and nothing matches - supposed to be over 2 min. but it only lasts l:16. Can someone fix this - this is one of my very favorite songs from the PF and I'd like to see it in it's entirety. It used to play fine - wha happened????????

  • Some of the the songs they wrote and recorded back then are better than the crap they play on the radio today.I was a partridge fan it was what we grew up with along with the other shows also.It wasn't that bad like all these reality shows they have today.

  • @TheMMT910 I agree with you.Music back then, when we were kids had heart and soul, and was fun to listen to.It was a great time to be a kid/ teenager I don't think the bands or the rock singers of today could come up with stuff like american pie, hotel California and a few others rap,and hip hop is not music

  • This song couldn't have been any more appropriate for this episode! It spoke right to all those prisoners who went wrong.I'll admit that once in a while when I get sad that this song can trigger your my emotions and release them when I'm all by myself.

  • See, we can get along and light a cig for your new prison buddy

  • I got to like all the Partridge sons from a movie called "I Think I Am" or something like that

  • I loved David Cassidy! I had his lunch box!

  • I wish I could remember the season where they filmed with the whales, that was a pretty song.

  • @TheMMT910 That was from Season 2 and The Whale SOng is another one of those songs that can make you break down. And to think everybody just disses The Partridge Family as mere 70's bubblegum lightweights.....TSK TSK!

  • Does anyone know which season this is from? I can't tell if it's Jeremy on drums - that would make it easier. Would appreciate it if someone knows the answer.

  • @dancingbutrfli This is from the first season, Episode 10 "Go Directly to Jail".

  • yes at 1:18 there is a shot of Jeremy on the drums.

  • I have sent an e-mail to Ellen. I think it would be a great show for her.

  • We need to tell Ellen Degeneres to have a reunion tell her and Warner Bros. send a email or whatever you can do.

  • LOL that would actually be really awesome to have a Partridge Family Reunion. I wasn't even alive when it was on, I watch the DVD's (I like old shows/music, lol)

Great idea, I wonder if on her website there's a place where you can request people.

  • Just saw on David's website they are reuniting famous TV families on the Today Show on March 2nd. Partridge Family,Brady Bunch, etc. Should be interesting.

  • @NelenaDevidJemi I have all 4 seasons on DVD.

  • I alway watch this when Im sad and I am now. II don't kno why II watch it when I'm sad I guess it just makes me fell better.

I also think that this somg really has some meaning to it because if u look at the pressent anad say wow this isn't that good as the past and I guess that is what the r saying in this song, Like what the heck happen to the world i want it the way it was only a moment ago!!

  • Dang, now that brings back my infant years and I LOVE IT !!! I was in a crib and screaming and then I heard David 's voice and went to sleep for sure !!! I mean that in a good way. This music is way under rated by pop cuture. These songs are well, historical of all from the early 70's

  • @ahfaxthis Even if the Partridge Family didn't perform them, they were still good songs!I only learned of them in reruns because I would have only been little over a year old when the Partridge Family got cancelled in 1974.

  • its funny how a half way decent song, can change the hearts of all...even let a prisoner get within feet of a shot gun without any concern from the guard. this song is full of common sence. but only a moment ago.

  • And, cough cough, looks like the boys in the Big House are getting downright emotional! I don't even want to think about the hot water and bath rubs after this one.

  • Good God! Shirley took the kids to play at prison!? LOL all those nightclubs must have gotten old.

  • They got sent to the big house for playing in the clubs. *Sniffle*, they grow up so fast.

  • LMAO, yeah they sure do. Can almost see Tracy handing out condoms and tubes of vaseline on their way out.

  • Beats the gig in the operating room.

  • They played in AN OPERATING ROOM????

  • "Brand New Me".

  • OMG!!!! I had to check that out. Shirley has reached a new low, she looks like a Rockette or a cocktail waitress on an oil rig!

  • c'mon now, think back. They all got sprayed by a skunk so they couldn't wear their groovy suits. Shirley is a Circus Ringmaster. And a hot one at that. ;-)

  • Ohhhh that was the skunk one? I will admit Shirley looks amazing but she's just one step away from one of those topless dancers in Las Vegas with the big peacock feathers on her head!

  • This guy David Cassidy has to be one the best looking people of those times in the 70's and now. I seen him in concert in 6/2007 and those eyes are just beautiful.

  • I seem to remember another version of this song....?

  • good song!!its slow but his voice is great!!

  • i just got the dvd how come the song doesnt sojund in stereo? where do u get the stereo version of this from?

  • my friend did that with dreams are nuthin more than wishes - it was her (and my) xmas pressy she got hers in NOVEMBER lmao!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is one of my favorites also it is a great song me and my girlfriend loves it

  • Oh my gosh SQDLVR - I couldn't agree with you more. I just LOVE this and have the same feelings as you... I really do miss those simple days.

  • Nice cover job on the second verse! Yes, one of my favs too...

  • I was 6 years old when this album came out. I loved it then and I love it now. This was one of my favourite songs on it and I still blast it. It reminds me of my childhood and when life was easier without any worries or problems!!!
