I don't understand how gays aren't "the same" as straight people. It's just that they like different people. I mean, in Islam, it's forbidden to act upon homosexual feelings or whatever, but it's not like it's not a natural thing that some people feel. People who are homosexual like people of the same gender. What, exactly, is so unnatural about that? It's like how people have different preferences in books and music and friends. People need to get over it. I just do not understand the world.

I think when people say they don't like when gay people flaunt it's mostly referring to feminine gays and masculine lesbians cause it's easier to tell their sexual orientation. I'm not a masculine chick, but I like talking about girls and that does not mean I'm flaunting my queerness, it's just freedom of expression. I hate when homophobes use that as an argument because it's very irrelevant and if I did want to flaunt my queerness that's no one's business. I deserve to be open just like heteros
