how do you guard impact algol's slow energy ball? no matter when i guard impact (both forward and back) i still get hit.

I still remember bashing buttons when I was fighting Algol while spitting out random curses. :3 Good times... good times :D

@Nikkapedia are you on the part where Algol hit you a low kick attack then shoot you fireball after? if yes then you just need to press directional button down + X (down guard/crouch guard) and just split second go back to a stand position and press the directional button right/forward + X (forward guard impact) do this after you guard the low kick attack of algol. do it quickly so you can perform guard impact.

@Deathscythetransform, yes it doesn't say though on title that its the end/ending, just say there the finale of the gauntlet, in sc4 i think each sc4 character has the ending including the guest char yoda, d.vader and the aprentice.

@DrNightmere , hello mate, the animation or chibi thing on this video is only apart of the game and they called it the gauntlet finale, i dont understand too why they made the finale part so poor and less effort of the graphics. they should make another one that is better gauntlet finale.

I searcched a bit on Soulpedia and I found that Talim was in SC2,too bad they left her out.

@GeorgeLambropoulos97 true they didn't include her in SC Legend of Wii, but she was included back on SC3 and SC4 and ofcourse in SCBD. hope Namco will release a SC for psp that comes with a network or online battle just like SC4.

@talimful There was a remour about SCV lasy year,except if they were talking about Broken Destiny,but again the story can continue because Siegfried killed Nightmare and destroyed Soul Edge(at least I think so,not to keen on SCIV)so they must have been talking about Broken Destiny.

I just completed it yesterday ^_^ But I didn't got any new weaphon,in the cheats I saw on the internet it said that a weaphon would be unlocked once I completed it.BTW do you know why it's called "The Gauntlet"?I didn't saw any gauntlets o_O

@GeorgeLambropoulos97 gauntlet literally means a glove or armor protection , but not sure why they call it The Gauntlet in soul calibur, maybe because it's a part of the game where you can train and test and learn the diferent moves in the soul calibur and learn how to survive and block the attackes of the opponent thats why they call it the gauntlet, usually most of the arcade games has the history mode as the gauntlet. and theres actualy a game called Gauntlet produce by atari on year 1985.

@talimful there's no unlockable weapon on this mode, but you can actually unlock the sword called BROKEN DESTINY if you defeated all the 200 opponents in Quick Match mode. plus you might unlock other equipments or honors while playing other modes.other weapons for each other characters except for algol can be unlock by playing the chracter on Trial of attack if you beat the oponent in last round which is nightmare/siegfried.

@talimful Thanks,for both of the answers.I've completed trial of attack with Ivy,Voldo,Cassandra,Tira,Rapha­el,Sophitia,Mitsurugi and Setsuka.I got an extra weaphon from eaach of them,some of them got Soul Calibur and some others got Soul Edge(depending on whom they fought with in the final batlle,Siegfried or Nightmare).Does the same happen if I complete the defense or the endless trial???

@GeorgeLambropoulos97 that's good, try to complete the other characters, try to use talim or dampierre because they got that weapon that is a combination of the soul calibur and soul edge just like an algol has. finishing the trial of defence just unlock some of the equipment, doesnt unlock any weapon in trial of defence, finishing endless trial is very imposible as its so many opponent to defeat there i only manage to defeat until round 30 and that is Nightmare on round 30.

@GeorgeLambropoulos97 No one knows why its called the Gauntlet.......And all you got for a Weapon was "Broken Destiny".....and only Siegfried/Custom Char Siegfrieds can use it. Unless you main him, its pretty useless. :P

@GeorgeLambropoulos97 i hate to use seigfried coz his so slow in recovery whenever he falls on battle arena, he's just like as heavy as Astaroth to stand up again. he got big weapon anyway that creates or hits too much damage to opponents life bar.

@GeorgeLambropoulos97 you're right other charcters should have their own broken destiny weapon too... i heard about that SC Legends for Wii, i saw some videos too on youtube about that game, and it seems kinda adventure arcade game, heard too about the numbers of charcters playable on that game is limited. I never played that game as i dont have wii console. good on you coz its another game experience for SC.

@talimful It's completely different than other SC's,and very similar to the Scenario mode from Tekken 6.According to the timeline the events of SC Legends take place between SC1 and 2 that's why many characteers are missing,characters like Raphael,Cassandra,Tira or Setsuka.But at least Voldo should have been playable,it's so funny controlling him! xD

@GeorgeLambropoulos97 yes like what i saw on those videos uploaded by wii sc legend players ,it's likely to be more adventure and comparable to some pc online fighting games and like what you said its same with scenario mode of the Tekken6. I understand now why theres only few character on it, because during that time was only those original charcters of the first SC. is talim included on SC Legend?

@GeorgeLambropoulos97 that's bad for Wii not havin talim on SC legend, she was the most favorite of other players aside from Kilik. i like talim coz she's speedy character but the bad thing about her is she only create little damage on hitting the opponent(s). i never played SC3. i only played sc2, SCBD and now SC4.

@talimful She would sure be quick,even Sophitia(who is a bit useless but I like her :p)is quick.I'm stack at a mission in a cathedral where I have only Ziegfried and at the end I have to fight Fafnir,a big dragon boss.If only I could take Ivy and Mitsurugi I would have made Fafnir dissapear once and for all.Too bad I can't...:'(
