  • Oh what I'd give to see a full big finish audio play animated like this.

  • first, i thought this was real!

  • You are stealing al of my titles for daleks -_-.

  • @iceburg008 Lol its Big finish own title for this story. Thanks for watching & checking it out. :)

  • @Fraust66 Your welcome.

How do you animate its really hard for me.

I really want to make dalek videos. Tutorial??

  • @iceburg008 There is loads of tutorial video's for Daz Studio here on youtube.Daz Studio's interface is easy

enough to pick up & get used to.I started out making single renders first then animation once I got the basics. The Daz forums are good as well for tutorials & are helpfull as well.Hope that helps you out mate. :)

  • @Fraust66 Thanks!! Ima get started. :)

  • This Dalek unit is currently working at 98% efficiency, if you're one of the 2% who aren't, please copy this into your signature.

Sorry Faust, couldn't resist the ancient '98%' forum fad. :D

  • @Greatsaiyakirby lol Kirby I never knew of the old 98% forum fad that you speak of.

    :D

  • Dr who episodes should be more like this

When ever the daleks appear there always on earth

They are never in there ship

or if they are its a pretty shitty excuse of a ship

they need one like this.. big and probobaly with levels on it!

  • You collies rdjackson87's voices

  • @benza515 no he didn't, this is from an audio story, anyone can use it.

  • The Dalek wouldn't have screamed report twice

  • @PePethegamesmaker he mite lol, you would say he wouldnt say exterminate 100 times we heard him the 1st time! lol

  • @DavidCavana hi David are you sure you were trying to load the model & not the texture. The model should be in the character folder in your runtime folder.Textures are for altering the colour of the models ect.Sorry for the late reply as well. :)

  • @DavidCavana If the option to ignore is given hit it or try looking for the file in your Daz folder, usually in the runtime folder.

  • @DavidCavana Hi David of course I remember you mate.Glad you got Daz working.Share cg is the only place I know to get the old nsd dalek that I use.It also has all the older models & a spider dalek all made by Billy-Home.Check the link in my video discription of the genocide machine to get the mk 6 model by mechmaster.Hope that helps you out mate. :)

  • wow that rlly sounds like the real dalek, its awsome

  • OMG you made all this in DAZ?!?!!?!??

    PLease tell me how!!!

and are the daleks downloadable so i can import into DAZ :)

  • @dannyto12 Hi dannyto12 you should check out the Daz tutorial videos here on youtube & the Dalek models were made by Billy-Home & can be downloaded from share cg.Hope that helps you out mate. :)

  • Brilliant stuff, me thinks someone will go far.

  • @Enk64 Thanks for that, cgi is just a hobby for me that I took up after being inspired by watching video's by other people here on youtube & giving it a go.Thanks for watching & for the good comment. :)

  • omg your videos are A-MAZ-ING !!!!!!!!!!! LOVE THEM

  • @GAZISGAZ Thankyou for the kind compliment, it makes the time spent making them worthwhile. Thanks for watching. :)

  • omg your videos are A-MAZ-ING !!!!!!!!!!! LOVE THEM

  • Good work Fraust. You were quick off the mark with this, it only came out January.

  • Its a great listen mate, highly recommended. Thanks for watching. :)

  • That video was epic!! An awesome video with Daleks talking so menacingly.

You have really excelled yourself again.

    Great work!!

It's a shame it didn't last very long though.

    I rate it 5/5 :D

  • Thanks as always James, glad you enjoyed it mate. The scene lasts a bit longer than what I animated but keep an eye open as rdjackson is doing the full version & like all his work,it will be epic.Good hearing from you mate. :)

  • You're very welcome my friend!!

    :) :D

Glad to hear that there will be a full version..nice!!

    Can't wait!! :)

  • As usual excellent animation work from you, I would love to see more of this episode.

  • Thanks for watching searcher533, glad you enjoyed it mate. :D

  • really good - but yes it does look too dark

  • Hi conradslater I use an lcd screen as a monitor & sometimes this makes a video look brighter than it probably is.Thanks for watching as always mate. :)

  • I watched this again on my laptop and it looks better than my work PC - in terms of brightness the best one IMHO is your Blood of the Daleks scene - that one seems to match the gamma of video; almost as if it's a missing scene from Resurrection! But no, it's nothing to worry about this one really - I'm being petty. This is really great work, I'll post to my Dalek blog - hopefully get you a few extra well deserved views.

  • Dont worry about good honest & constructive critisism conrad, it is taken onboard & hopefully helps me to improve as I go along.Thankyou as well for posting it to your blog, it is well appreciated mate. :D

  • Someone looks unhappy at having had a rather rude wake-up call!

  • Lol he does sound a bit lagged out mate. Thanks for watching mate, always glad to get feedback from you. :D

  • Excellent work with the dark dull metal look.

I kinda imagined (when listening to the whole audio drama) them being rusty with metal fatigue and everything. But dark and that look of dark grit also works.

  • Thanks for watching tangerinealarm, I am a bit limited in my knowlage of texturing & bump mapping surfaces.Glad you enjoyed it mate. :D

  • Excellent as usual Davey, the colour scheme is really good, as is the scary dark atmosphere, top notch stuff as always

  • Thanks as always Billy, your Dalek model is a joy to work with.Hope your ongoing work on Second Empire with Andy is going well. The episodes so far have been epic.Well all the best for now & speak soon mate. :D

  • wow they keep getting better and better, brilliant animation you have done, cant wat for more, i wish i new how to use daz like you

  • Thanks Jeremy as always, your feedback makes animating well worth the effort mate. :D

  • pleasure

  • Well what to say, flawless as usual mate , keep it up:)

  • Thanks jacob1029 always good to get feedback from you mate. Thanks again for watching. :D

  • Excellent work - 5 stars!

  • Thanks Darren, Im really looking forward to your Dalek comedy.Your renders are lifelike & I cant wait to hear the voice tests.Good luck with your project. :D

  • Prey the Daleks return to there Grey and Black Colour Scheme one Day ! .

I dont mind the Bronze and Gold look of the Daleks we have now , but it's getting abit boring seeing them in that Colour Scheme so good old Bronze and Black like the ones on this Video would be brilliant !!!!!!!!!!! .

  • hi Jason your right about the colour schemes on the Daleks. Its great hearing from you mate & thanks for watching. :)

  • Your welcome Pal . My Channel has changed appearance so do check it out if you have a moment . Thanks .

  • @doctorwhoone

Yes, cause seeing the gold Daleks we've had for the last 5 years, I keep thinking the leader Dalek from Day of the Daleks and Frontier in Space.

I saw a grey Dalek in the season 5 previews. :)

I would love to see the silver and blue return. :D

  • Wonderful stuff. :)

My only suggestion would be to add more frames to the arcs of electricity.

  • Good shout mate,I replied too you at who3d.Thanks again for watching & for the feedback,it is well appreciated. :D

  • I have JUST finished modelling and animating this scene! Though I have done all the way up to and including the second Daleks revival.

Its about 3 mins long so it may be a while before its all rendered!

I really like your Genocide Machine animation and the new Dalek Emperor model is brilliant. What program do you use?

  • Its great to get feedback from you rdjackson87 your animations are amazing mate.I use daz studio & piece scenes together from anything I can find in my runtime folders. But you can build your own sets from scratch & that is leagues above what I do.I'l really look foward to see your own interpretation of the full scene as well mate. :D

  • Excellent stuff!

  • Thanks trayusstudent its always good hearing from you mate. :D

  • Your vids never cease to amaze me, Im running out out of things to say

  • Hi filmfast its great hearing from you mate.Glad you enjoyed it mate. :D

  • Good shout, it was a great listen. Thanks for watching. :)

  • Thanks always good to get feedback from you. :)

  • That was Brillaint!!!!! Ive just had this through my door at long last. Brillaint it was!!! Im going to have to search for a scene that needs a Recreation of some sort. Fantastic!! 5 Stars and on my Dalek Group!
