  • I'm surprised that the top works but none of the windows do.

  • nice your not missing the trim thats just a vinyl strip easy find on ebay i love these car's you can find a caprice impala or olds alll day long but the lesabre and grandville are rare

  • sweet ride. man. Buick makes great cars. question though..how about a tractor land update?

  • how many cars do you own atm?

  • Would love to see what that car would of looked like when it came out of the dealers! what a sight that would of been...

  • @jmoyet I remember them back then. They were shiny and new everything worked.

  • a way to tell if a car or truck has over 100,000 is if the brake pedal rubber is worn through to metal

  • @casebutler not a good way to tell at all. Higher mileage..yes, but no where near close enough to tell if its 100k or not. suspension is easier to identify...if it needs lots of work, its near 200k.

  • Does that buick run on unleaded good or do you have to put in premium?

  • @MrThebull09 Runs on unleaded. '75 was the first year for it on these.

  • Man is that quiet at speed for a convertible. Those big land yachts were fun.

  • does that have the 2 barrel or 4 barrel Rochester?

  • What a cool car. Its sooo quiet and smooth. Great find.

  • Check the door latching bolt on the body to see if it has the plastic cover where the door latch hits it. Usually they wear and fall off by now which causes the door to not latch properly. A piece of 1/2" drip irrigation tubing sliced lengthwise and wrapped around the bolt shaft works great. Worked perfect on my '77 Monte Carlo. I think most big GM cars back then had that style of latch.

  • Very nice!

  • I think i just had too much cocaine... the radio is fucking smiling to me!

  • I had an 1967 OLD'S Dynamic 88 convertible, but gas was 60 cents a gal:~)

  • That would make a good restoration job right there for sure.

  • This would be an awesome step-by-step restoration video series

  • i would just buy quarters and doors from the south cause thoes rear quarters are rusted pretty bad

  • @Bobbymitchell10 Nah, they're not that bad. (for up North here) Basically it's rusted around the edges of the wheel opening, the rest is solid. The doors were fine before someone sanded the paint off and left it, mostly surface rusting. This is the best one I've seen of these, so I took it. Looked at one that part of the frame fell off when i touched it. Seems common for the rear body to rust out on these, most I saw were swiss cheese with no trunk floor at all.

  • @LynolsOffice convertibles are fun and i assume that rly big one is a blast, talk to an MG enthusiast and cold top down december driving as nothing, for that surface rust before the winter i recommend some POR-15 just to spray over, and some undercoating for the wheel wells. just to get it thru the winter, also transmission fluid and filter change a must on these.

  • @LynolsOffice yeah, i know about northern rust, im in michigan, lol, but the wheel openings are a pain to fabricate and get them to look right, you can bondo it, but that is a halfass way to fix it, but the rest of the car doesnt look bad

  • snow blowing videos?

  • @TheHondadirtbiker No snow yet thank god...

  • 1975 Buick custom rust bucket.

  • Body needs some big time TLC. Whats that thunking sound around 5:00-5:30?

  • @Roushfan5 Thats the door rattling. You have to slam it or it doesnt latch all the way.

  • @Roushfan5 And hey it's no where near as rusty as my Scout! The car would have been better off if whoever had it would have left it alone instead of starting then abandoning the body work.

  • @LynolsOffice No argument here.

  • Looks like a fun car, shouldn't take too much to get that thing presentable. Makes me want to get my 75 Impala out of storage!

  • i challenge you to a luxury car contest, my car vs yours

  • so 350 v8 from 1975...about 60hp right, if your lucky you might have 75 :)

  • @10yroldcarlover I think it was rated at 175. It's amazing how little these emissions choked engines put out.

  • @LynolsOffice my uncle has a 267 v8 powered oldsmobile cultass supreme 4 door, my dads old topaz 4 cyl would beat it in a drag race

  • lol ghetto cruiser

  • Ah, the classic convertible land yacht . Looks like it needs a bit of TLC.

  • That looks like a great project, it should turn out really nice after some bodywork and paint
