@ClasifyedJ If it sounds good to you then it is right, if it doesn't sound good, try pressing down the strings with your fingertips more than the pads of your fingers.
im 31 and have just picked up the guitar 6 months ago.
i hadn't played since 16 (i was taught between 13 - 16).
and to be honest after hearing lots of different types of music the guitar becomes easier to understand instead of being such a novelty at earlier ages.
you also have a lot more power/endurance which combined with practice of technique = win.
Music is in your brain, never loose the fire for learning :)
By the way thanks to the player teaching us here - great job!!!!
Instead of E flat, Gm D7 at the end of each verse, try E flat maj7, D7sus4, D7. Sounds a mouthful I know but just gives a bit more authenticity! Cheers
You're really advanced player. Though, the Cm9 would definitely sound much better on the 8th fret. It's important to know that you don't necessarily need to hit all strings and all of the essential notes of the chord. Of course I reckon that you'd know by now since you've posted this film almost a year ago. :P
Thank U so much !! U put me on the right track, for my next gig...THANX DUDE !!!!

Your Cm9 would sound much better at the 8th fret. Nice vid by the way.
