I went to the University of Hartford from 1968 to '72 and visited the Twain house many times. The house was a very small operation then, and the ladies who ran it let me wander inside unescorted. What an experience, to be alone in that grand old house for an hour among Twain's furniture and belongings! They were still making discoveries then, including a black leather bag with Twain's (pen-) name painted in cursive white and red letters, which had turned up in the corner of an attic or basement.

i live in CT and i;ve been there millions of times..his house IS haunted..TAPS and Lorraine Warren was there :D
