You can get jungles in old worlds, a few clicks in NBTedit and generate new terrain.

Only - of that method are sharp chunks borders.

btw, you CAN get jungles in your current worlds by using NBTedit, like we had to on the 1.8 pre release

But it seems that each update changes the seed code drastically, so wouldn't it be strange to see a random chunk spawn at the edge of your map?

@Generikb Lol you're retarded dude. When you update your old save file you DO get new content---it just doesn't have any room to spawn in your explored territory; so these new biomes spawn outside your normal areas.

Obviously you can't just apply a new seed to your save file---it doesn't work like that. But if you update your save file, the new content is applied to it---it just spawns in new zones, not previously generated ones.
