The other day I was watching one of John Green's Fifa soccer videos, and in the video he said that getting excited about the fictional lives that he's created for the virtual soccer players in his video game wasn't any more ridiculous than getting excited about anything else. The idea reminded me of that video of yours where you said something very similar about pokemon and working and vlogging, etc. That reminded me of just how freaking good your videos are. I was glad to see another.

This may be unrelated but I've seen this growing trend of YouTubers just "not giving a damn if people watch or not", but that doesn't make sense. I think I tried masking that because it was the "cool thing to do". YouTube peer pressure.

Is it always a mask, though? Or do people think that way?

@lesliefoundhergrail In the past I've been starkly in favor of the "make stuff because you enjoy the process, and not for other people!" mindset. And I still think that if you don't enjoy the process, then you probably shouldn't be doing it, and you probably won't be making anything good anyway. But if it was ALL for the process, then I'm not sure why I'd be uploading it for other people to see.
