When that build was shown @ winhec 2k3 Bill Gates & Steve Ballmer went batshit (they hate bling and believe that a good GUI is one that is as ugly, plain, dull and boring as possible) and fired the people who built it, then they scrapped the whole thing (that's why the Longhorn -> Vista reboot happened).

i'd say thats useless, and not a great effect. i would like one that would be functional as well, like the linux 3d cube. they say apple had it first as a 3rd party program, but linux was the first to integrate it. they should make something like that for windows, except like the one in the lhr promo video.
