Best book and movie ever (although I think the movie is better than the book). The novel 'Fingersmith' on the other hand, I think was better than the movie. But still... After all these years I'm still in love with the movie Tipping The Velvet.
Okay, with the opening from 0:01-0:35, I was wondering "What the hell am I looking at?" And the thing is when I saw the opening for the first time, the first thing I thought was, this seems like a weird fever dream. With the rest of it is meh, but that is the strangest opening I've seen in a long time.
i watched this with my mum.at the end when Nan had to choice between Kitty or Flo, mum was happy that Nan made the right choice & she said.. "ohhhh yes! ohhhh good!!" I was proud she wanted 2 watch it with me knowing it was a gay movie. I felt it was her way of saying "I love you no matter what!" my sister, her son (8 at the time) & mum watched 6 hours straight of the Bad girls (uk prison) one night. after each esp they all wanted to keep watching. it was 3am when I kicked them out of my room!!

part two is missing because thats when "it" happens. the crux. the inevitable. And youtube being who they are can't allow that "sort of thing" to be celebrated, watched, understood. Hence the removal of part 2. Fuck you Youtube, your bitter and depraved.
where is the essence of the entire show if they will cut the most valuable part of it... tsk tsk tsk. this is a very good movie and lovemaking part of it is art not pornography.......

When you stand before God on Judgement day what will you say when He asks why you did not love Him? I hope all of you repent and turn from your wicked ways before it is too late!
