For the people who always get "Failed to join game [GS]"... I also had it on my Windows 7... the only solution I found was to play it on Windows XP (but it will lag like crazy)... either on a virtual machine or you can shrink one of your partitions to make room for an extra one and install XP there (just be warned, you will need to run a repair your Win7 install, or add it to the boot.ini file, because it will not be recognized at boot)

I downloaded the Rome Total War Barbarian Expansion and the regular version from Amazon for $4.99. I can play single player fine, but I can't play multiplayer because I cannot get the cd key. Its because you dont have 1.5 you cant join peoples games but you can host an 1,0 or 1,3 version which no one can join

@Hamachi, or you can end the process, aka CTRL + Alt + Delete, Manager thingy, process tab, and terminate the hamachi_ui ( or something similar ), it won't unnistall your hamachi, it just won't be opened/working, until you open it again.
