They likely based Klaus off the actor in the movie, rather than the book Klaus. I would rather them have based him off the book Klaus, but oh well.

But there's something different about the version of this game you are playing. I managed to download a demo, and when Sunny was going to get to the bike, there weren't any boxes in front of the fence. I had to bite a rope instead that would make the fence fall

Nope. He was removed. He only does it for the film. Tim Curry does it in this version, and I feel he's somewhat better at it and fit the mood more.

yeah I think Tim Curry was the best voice for Lemony Snicket, better than Jude Law. Tim Curry did the voice for some of the audio books/ audio CD's. then they replaced his voice with some other guy and he was no where near as good.
