  • I got 2 flat tires back to back within an hour 3miles from the bike transition,in the ST.Croix iron man.I thought my race was over but some guy came out his house and helped me out .

    its been a year since ive got a flat in my tri bike tires (i do 200+miles a week) its bloody lucky, bit of talch in them to prevent knicks.

    but i used that bike with those inner tubes tht were over a year old (no puncture) and i got one in the Even, at the 90mile point of the ironman, i road for like 2 with a flat thinking i could do 22 with a flat,but soon realised i needed to get the tire leavers out of the back pocket lol.6hour19min

  • Watching this I can't stop feeling bad for Trojborn Sindballe. He just announced his retirement from Ironman racing bc of his heart condition. He was one of the best bikers out there.

  • he is more of an ultra athlete as opposed to an iron man (his words) so unlikely, i think he came second in the ultra man in 2008 though (i think).
