Good grief. Who are these people trashing Sting and Trudi? Have you ever met them personally or spent any time with them? I spent a great deal of time with Trudi in the mid-80's while she was shooting a film in San Francisco. She was very sweet, totally unassuming, gracious, and as friendly as could be. She had no reason to fake it with me, as I am a complete nobody. She was also far more beautiful in person than on film or in pics. I sometimes hear that she is annoying, but I never saw it.

Sting and Trudy preach about saving the planet and cutting back on our carbon output and giving to the poor yet they own an Elizabethan manor house and its 60-acre country estate in Wiltshire, England, a country cottage in the Lake District, a New York City apartment, a beach house in Malibu, California, a 900-acre (3.6 km2) estate in Tuscany, Italy, and two properties in London: an apartment on the Mall and an 18th century terrace house in Highgate. Hypocrites the lot of them!
The emphasis should be on the movie and learning about parent-child relationships. The Amerikan family today is shattered and hardly recognizable as a family unit! ~Peta-de-Aztlan~
Looks like a great film. Trudie, from the looks of it, as far as all that she has given back to society & global causes, etc., seems like a genuinely nice, thoughtful and selfless person. I think she and Sting make a great couple/team. I'm really looking fwd to seeing this film.

Um, yes I'm serious. Why would I waste time writing comments I wasn't serious about? And I'd love to meet her. Maybe my opinion of her would change after I got to know the "real" her, but until then, all I have to go on is her philanthropic actions, i.e. founding/supporting important worldly causes like the Rainforest Foundation & producing movies such as "A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints," and so on.
As far as being a "home wrecker"- well, one's heart knows what it wants & ... (con't)...

And speaking of judging, why call Sting a prat? Along w/ Trudie, he seems very supportive in things that matter to the good/betterment of the word. No 1 is perfect, but people seem 2 confuse his confidence w/ cockiness. Sting's actions show he's giving & selfless-through his music/voice, donations, philanthropic wk, etc.
