Yeah but how may Hyundai, Fords, Chevys, VW, Dodge, etc etc......are still on the road after 500k miles? You get what you pay for when you buy Toyota. I have respect for all the cars that are made but the quality of Toyota still amazes me. Also notice that Toyota usually initiates the recalls.....not the government. Thanks yota. This commercial makes me long for a simple car. One of the best is the Honda S2000 with its simplicity and pure focus on driving. The Jaguar E-Type is also an excellent example of the simplicity of a car without statbility control, abs, or enough airbags to make it float. Toyota is building a car for quintessential non drivers car.

This car has been the quality and sales leader for many years, and now it has become the value leader. Apparently you haven't bothered to look at the SE V-6 either. 0-60 in 6.0 seconds doesn't sound too boring at that price. What were you looking for? More tacky lines and trim?

I think the 2012 camry was a half success, half flop. the success coming from all of the wonderful new features, but a flop on the design. in my personal opinion, the "redisign" seems to be lazy. it's still a nice car though, out of all the cars in it's class i'd buy the camry. (over the accord / sonata etc)
