Marlena, question.. I bought Violet pigment from MAC and I tried applying it on a friend and it doesn't STICK on the lid for some reason and as soon as I pass a brush on top of it, boom it's gone and all I get is this sheer-looking purple :( What do I do to make it super pigmented ???

@antidoll with the pigments you need to use a sticky base like a NYX jumbo pencil! Milk is a good color. If you want it to really pop wet your brush and apply the pigment. Any kind of sticky base even a eyeliner will work just make sure you blend it so you don't get creasing. I hope this info has helped you a little :)

@antidoll I had the same thing happen to me with some Mark products a while back. I'm not sure if it's a factor or not, but I (without thinking) put face powder to set foundation and it got on the lid. I think it kinda blocked the eyeshadow from catching onto the primer:/

@Peepsyx3 I would recommend doing either look from this video. Both are very nice and classic. For dinner dates like this your best friend in your little black dress. I think combined with either looks in the video paired with a black dress is perfect for this holiday season.

@Peepsyx3 Your best bet is to pick an outfit you feel comfortable in. If you feel good in your outfit, you can forget about it and its one less thing to worry about. Then, make an appointment at your department store makeup counter, take the dress and ask for help in creating a look you want that will go with the dress. Again, make it something you're comfortable with, so you can beam confidence.
