Madden 10 Offense Tips (Utilizing Mobile Quarterbacks)

I had nnamdi asomugha and andre johnson at 99 until they were about 38 then they retired and nnamdi became available as a coach. The qb is tough because like the tackel they gotta be young and your better off progressing them at qb anyway but i've seen mobile qb's go up when switched to rb

You switch them to cornerback and they will progess at cb but when switched back to lb they'll be 99. hb switch them to fb or wr...fb switch them to tackle or guard...wr switch to fb hb or te....TE switch to WR or fb or hb...tackles if their young enough can progress at te or fb but its hard to do...guards and centers progress at tackle... d-ends and dt's at linebacker...safeties at corner or lb...most importantly though to keep an old player from dropping his rating switch to punter or kicker

Here's a tip on player progression....Even when a player has C potential If you switch their position if their new rating is 80-89 they get B potential and if it goes to 90+ then tehy are A and they keep that potential no matter what. Many Lb get a huge jump when you switch them to end dt or saftey. Also players with high ratings switching their positinos and letting them progress at that postion will make for them getting a 99 rating over so some1 like patrick willis john beason damarcusware

Here's a tip find a toss play....get an 2 offensive lineman with good impact blocking and run blocked and switch them to wr...and another one to swithc to te with some type of speed. Now for your run plays sub them in (i usually never pass out of those plays so i leave them subbed) and now you have 8 offensive linemen and corners get pancaked really easy and you get huge holes to run through a fast hb also helps a lot

during the pre play snap, you can figure out if they are playing a man or a zone. i always do hb screen and if they play a zone , i do drag routes of all my recivers to the direction of the hb and i always hav like 5-6 blockers. if its man just do routes away from the hb

contains dont always keep the qb in the pocket. I hardly scramble but i seen a couple of my friends play opponents that have DE's on contain. My friends run towards the contain till the defender gets suckered in to an o-lineman and then they began running with the QB

the screen pass tip is garbage.. any decent madden player is gonna spy on the half back coming out of the backfield.. especially ap.

and for mobile qbs i just run a qb draw..that works just as effectively

the best way to stop the screen is to be in man coverage.. use QB contain to keep the qb in the middle of the field. or you can send the corner on the blitz to the same side he keeps running to

Have the DE to the side that the RB isn't at spy and do a contain with the DE on the side where the screen is going.

I usually destroy people who try to run screens. They pick up negative yardage most of the time, and sometimes I get it for a pick 6. I once had 4 INTs off of screens off some guy who somehow didn't realize I don't allow screens to beat me. Ended up winning 45-0 (I was the Panthers, he was the Eagles, one of the best teams to screen with...)

P.S. That's A + left on the right stick and A + down on the left stick to do each of those respectively, and if you want to just make sure there's a man on a certain player, you just hit A + button of WR + left on the left stick. It's effective if you want to run zone coverage but have a WR you want to play tight.

Let's say Steve Smith of the Panthers is eating you alive and he's in the slot. Take the guy you want to cover him, A + Y (or w/e button Smith is) + left on left stick

If you're playing on the 360 you need to "Smart Route" your guy by clicking the R-stick (not pulling left/right/up/down - but clicking it).

That should get your guy to move further down field before making his break.

I don't have a PS3, so can't help you there.
