actually the commentator is Don Cherry, a Canadian and I think this is from one of his "Rock 'em, sock 'em" videos.

@scarecrowschofield It's Cherry. I don't think Irvin would have made a joke about the guys fighting in Fuhr's crease. And, yes, Don did two separate commentaries on the Gretzky/Kurri/Sykes "fight".

Thanks for this clip, vindiggs. I remember the show this clip came from. It was a show that Don Cherry hosted called "This Week In Hockey", that aired during the late 1980's. I think it was on Sportschannel New York (now Fox Sports New York).
