Beautiful. I love how Classic Sesame Street never fell into that "why waste good music on kids" trap that shows like Barney do. I mean, with slightly altered lyrics, this song could have been a pop hit. Sesame Street was the only show I would watch when I was little because I felt the music was so superior to anything else. And speaking of great music, Buffy Sainte-Marie is pure class. I wish she had still been on Sesame Street when I was little, but I guess I can settle for YouTube clips. :)

@dunbustin it is mesmerising isn't it! I chased this up because i saw it on Being There too. I love this kind of music. I reminds me of a lot of Jon Brions work who;s made the score for films like I heart Huckabees, Eternal Sunshine and Punch Drunk Love. Check them out if you haven;t seen them!
