it's easy to play bach without looking, as most notes are one a side of the other. Chopin or any romantic that's really difficult to play without looking, as left hand usually jumps more than an octave.

I used to do this all the time, it was so fun to do it b/c my friends they always thought i was faking! =] But I stopped playing when I was 13... I just started again and my fourth finger on my right hand won't respond to my barin! It's really weird when I play- there's often a pause in the music where it should be moving.... I guess thats what i get for stopping

Don't be bugged by the doofs that criticize you. You play it very well. This is a challenging piece even to the well learned organist. If someone can play this piece in tempo, accurately, without sheet music, then you're good! And as for those saying that he has practiced it a lot.... no duh! this is actually not too big a deal...when you play a piano you naturally gain a feel for where the keys are. How do you think these people playing by reading music play....for the hard pieces, they must keep focused on the sheets, and not their fingers.

you're right. But it's a bit harder to play blind folded. It demand good knowedge of piece. Also you have to focus when there are fast parts and big jumps, octaves etc.
