  • I don't remember this scene from the movie.

  • Been a fan of John Cameron Mitchell & Stephen Trask's "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" both the Film and the soundtrack!

Eu adoro "Wicked Little Town" ambos o solo/melody et the accompaniment, les deux, la mélodie et accompagnement sont beaux et je sais chaque barre musicale de cela! Je souris encore... Et aime! And I am still smiling!

  • How can you not fall in love with this movie and especially the music? If you didn't like it you must be dead!

  • Give it up Kwang.

  • I can't get over how much I love this wig. <3

  • KWANG YI

  • The 5 people that disliked this must be Justin Bieber fans...

  • <3

  • Why doesn't this have a million views?

  • im a 13 year old girl and I adore this film ;D

  • im about to be in junction city lol

  • the acting is superb! Michael Pitt is my Love always!

    I loveMichael Pitt

  • the acting is superb! Michael Pitt is my Love always!

  • the smile at 0:43 makes me crack up every time.

  • OMG...my childhood...my lovers...my life. Jesus...I need this.

  • One of my favorite movies. John Cameron Mitchell is a genius.

  • I'm a HUGE HUGE HUGE Hed Head, but today I just heard a song called "Night Time" by a Jazz pianist named Oscar Peterson. You can find the song on YouTube and tell me that the piano intro isn't almost exact. I don't mean to call theft or anything like that and I mean no ill will towards JCM and Mr. Trask but seriously check it out

  • @ coleycoleyface420 :

    John Cameron Mitchell

    the real name of "hedwig"

  • Hedwig is SOO pretty!! <3

    Amazing song <3

  • Hedwig, too beautiful. Who could watch it and not fall in love?

  • This is my favorite song after "wig in a box"

But I like the Tommy gnosis version a but better.

It always amused me how hedwig Is played by a boy and ytzick is played by a girl.

    Awesome movie.

  • @actor41 for real i thought it maybe was a chick. woot do you know the actress's name??

  • @coleycoleyface420 John Cameron Mitchell

  • @actor41 I think if you had only heard the Tommy Gnosis version, it wouldn't have the impact it does after hearing the Hedwig version first. Just my thoughts...

  • This movie is so emotional to me... it has symbolic messages that the "average" person wouldn't be able to pick up on. I relate in so many ways to the character Hedwig even though I have a penis ;). I've watched this movie probably 2000 time's literally and never get sick of it.

  • @itsconnorjon I agree with you 100% If I can agree anymore I would lol

  • this movie and all songs are great, and really im not gay,but i love pure raw talent and people who can be themselves. awesome movie, love the songs wait i already said that.

  • ...give it up, Kwang.

  • this is a beautiful song but at the end is funney with napkin

  • Hah, I think the Phil Collins joke is one of the funniest in the movie. You ask "Why would we be talking to Phil Collins' people?" Hedwig is making the statment that we're all "talking to so-and-so" or in other words "about to hit it big." Or at least we say these things to other people and ourselves in order to feel better about where we are in our lives. I dunno. I laughed.

  • @KairoticE That's so true though. I'm guilty of doing that almost all the time. "Talking to so-and-so"

  • I love this song. So beautiful.

  • Instead of saying Junction City aint the spot, I always say this shithole aint the spot... cuz its not...

  • @VercingetorixXIII ...you've obviously not been to Junction City. Leave the lyrics that way. Haha

  • This is my favorite song from the movie, and Hedwigs version only, then midnight radio...

  • I really thought a guy sung this. I learned something today... XD

  • a guy did sing this...

  • Really?

  • @SkinnyV7X Ah hate to break it to you but that is a guy lol

  • @darkgotheyedwiccan Known that for 5 whole months lol

  • The fates are vicious and they're cruel.

You learn too late you've used two wishes

    like a fool

and then you're someone you are not,

someone you are definetly not. and Junction City ain't the spot,

  • simply GREAT!

  • Its nice,Really,I Found it odd at first how i can go from listening to death metal,To a song by hedwig,And manage to understand it.But a great song,Great movie.

  • @Quinz539er haha, arent we all... I havent figured that part out yet, what does that mean? we all have dreams we think will happen? what does it mean to you?

  • We are talking to Phil. Collin's. people. But then again, aren't we all?

  • but why would we all be talking to Phil Collinses people? thats the part I dont understand. dont be vague, I know Phil Collins was a big star in 80s where this is set but I dont get it... or maybe I dont see something I should see...

  • dude, you really overthinking it. its a stupid joke. theyre talking to phil collins people about maybe getting signed. the joke is by todays standards thats pretty lame, but then these random people in this crappy diner are all like 'ooo! wow! Phil Collins'!

  • what kind of guitar is quang yii playing

  • hondo, my friend.

  • my god a hondo. that was my first guitar.

  • whoo this movie is the best ever!!!!!!

  • Yeeeeeeeahh!!! Quang Yee was played by old-school Canadian Much Music VJ, Sook Yin Lee. I LOVE YOU SOOK YIN!!

  • And she also stars in JCM's other brilliant film Shortbus.

  • That she did! ^-^v

  • one of my top fave films:) Love this song....and lovin' Quang Yee!!

  • Lovely...this song always gets me when I hear it. Bravo, I really love this movie.

  • This film is brilliant in every aspect. The part when the bathroom door slammed is priceless! lol

  • Kwang yiiiii

    !!!!!!

  • I worked on this film. This scene was shot at the Coffee Diner, 3549 KIngston Road in Scarborough, a suburb on the east side of Toronto on Aug 9, 2000.

  • so does that mean Scarborough is a wicked little town?

    :P

  • Quang YEE!*twang twang twang!*...

    I love this film.

  • god i love this movie!!

  • that korean lady KwangYi always crack me up

  • watched this musical with a very dear friend...i love it!!

  • I did the same, still loving it.

  • DNTO!

  • There are important lyrics missing in the movie/video version of the song. On the soundtrack version there are extra lyrics:

"Oh Lady, luck has led you here

    and they're so twisted up

they'll twist you up. I fear.

    the pious, hateful and devout,

you're turning tricks til you're turned out,

the wind so cold it burns,

you're burning out and blowing round."

  • Thanks for posting this - I also know the extended album version, but could never make out the words to the second section. Thanks again!

  • Phil Collins lol.

  • Man, I love this song, this MOVIE! But i think i like Tommy's version better. But the movie is awesome. The funny part is that i'm 13 years old.

  • I agree entirely. Tommy's version is better because the lyrics are more heart-wrenching, and the background singers are better. If Hedwig sang tommy's version it'd be the best.

  • That's cool. Hey. My name is David. Hope you will reply to me.

  • KUANG YEE!!!! she's awesome. XDD

  • Comment removed

  • WOOO!!!

My Last Name Is Yee :D

Omg I Be Related To Kuang xD

  • I love that wig!! I want that wig!!!! what a pretty guy

  • The Terri Nunn (Berlin) wig is fab! Love it too!

  • I was born in Junction City. My mom's from Korea and my dad was stationed at Fort Riley. Meh.

  • "Thank you... both of you."

    FUCKIN PRICELESS!! hahahaha lol XD

  • The army town mentioned in the song is Junction City, KS right outside of Ft. Riley, KS. I was stationed there for (4) years. Lots of Korean wives because we all ended up doing tour of duty in South Korea sooner or later. Anyone artistic would NOT have fit into Junction City, KS. Manhattan, KS is there also and is a college town.

  • Could someone please explain to me what does (s)he mean when (s)he says "we are talking to Phill Collins' people. But then again ... aren't we all ?".Why we all are ? Don't get his point.

  • I think it's just a hilarious non sequitor.

  • Ok, thank you for answering :)

  • Yikes!

  • he is saying they are shopping the song to phils ppl but arent we all talking to "those kind of people" if its just not a lead in to start the song

  • my favorite song from 'Hedwig'.....beautiful.

  • beautiful song

  • love love love this

  • there's only a person in this world that loves me and let me free.

  • What was the joke here? That the officers on the base were all married to trashy-looking Korean women?

  • If you think about it they were most likely the outcast on the base... Korean women and an obvious yet beautiful transsexual... I don't think the regular wives would like them very much.

  • i love this song.

  • Truly fantastic...I luv all of HEDWIG....

John Cameron Mitchell is such a genius.

  • i love him. I love her.

  • her was you

  • A very good musical.

    Amazing song

  • We love you Wang-Le!

  • I never really got the story to Hedwig- but who cares really, this song kicks ass any way you look at it

  • Lol, "But how about Wang-Ye? Give it up for Wang-Ye!"

  • It was a play first

  • Hahaha I love that..."Thank you...Both of you."

He's got a great voice, it's perfect for Hedwig.

  • this is my favorite song!!!!

  • Was this first a movie then a play, or a play then a movie?

And did Steven Trask write the lyrics for JCM? Or were the lyrics already written when the movie was being made?

    Please Answer!

  • Was first a play and then a movie.

  • It was actually first a stage show in various drag bars in pieces, and then eventually became an entire musical production, and then became a movie which is very different from the whole thing. And yes, all the songs were included, most of them longer.

  • I know the story. John c. mithell and ( i never remember the name) the guitarist met on a plane and decided to make up this stage show. the first times in the various drag bars they didn't have so much success. John used to pull up his hair, a thing never does a drag queen. but than in that theather in NY they have so much success that they had the show every day. John couldn't bore it anymore and so there were different Hedwig. So the movie. The best musical i ever watch into my entire life.

  • stephen trask ;)

  • It started as improv. JCM started throwing this around NYC tranny-rock clubs as a series of workshops, with Trask providing the music. Then they turned it into a play, then a movie.

  • "give it up Kuang..."

"now, i know a lot of you guys out there, tonight... a lot better than some of you would care to admit..."

"... 'cause we are talking to... Phil Collins' people, right... hmm, but then again, aren't we all..."

  • THe best musical in a long a time

  • until Sweeney Todd came along... This song touches me in my big, machismo man-heart

  • i fuckin love this song and the movie as well<3

  • ... We are talking to Phil Collinses people. But then again ... aren't we all? lol

    Brilliant movie!!

  • Wang-Ye on guitar!

    You go girrrl.

  • i love this song.

  • I think we have a winner...This movie is state of the art transexual romantic comedy! It will break your heart and then make you spit up with laughter. And this song, Wicked Little Town, is for anyone who ever stood in their backyard PRAYING anyone could see them. I took my Italian, Catholic Grandmother to see this and she pissed her panties!! Although she really didnt know what the hell it was about, she requested to see it again. If that aint love and devotion I dont know what is?!?

  • its after, he met tommy because he was the babysitter.

  • This movie is genuis. Years ago I rented this movie without knowing anything about it. Wow. What a great surprise. John Cameron Mitchell knocked it out of the ballpark with this one and his portrayal of Hedwig was simply genuis.

  • One of my favorite movies of all time.

  • This movie is great. John Cameron Mitchell is a genius.

  • I know a lot of you out there tonigh, more than some of you would like to admit. lol! omfg. I effin' love this movie!!

  • LOL!! Give it up for kwang li, hahaha lmao!!!

  • perfect. =) * <3

  • This is quite possibly my favourite movie of all time. Amazing.

  • Hedwig always looks lovely, michellestmarie.

  • I forget if this comes before or after the infamous bathtub scene.

  • Before because this is where Tommy first meets Hedwig..if I'm not mistaken...

  • It's after because she drops her card in the tub and he turns up there to watch her.

  • I love that Kwang Yi.

  • Una Pelicula Sumamente Excelente!!!

y Las Rolas Que Usaron Osea Las SoundTrack!!!

    De Llorar, Amor y Diversion!

    Amo Esta Pelicula

    La tengo En Mis Manos!

  • This song completely describes my stupid hometown. And Hedwig looks lovely here.

  • I listen to the CD continually on my car stereo. I never get tired of it.

  • this video is the best!!!!!!

  • This performance still moves me, immeasurably, no matter matter how many times I see it.

  • A Great Rock and Roll opera. I love Hedwig! Really listen to the songs, the words are beautiful.
