  • its sooooo hard.....

  • i made this with 8x8cm kami paper

  • wait 32 cm x 32 cm? I need a response fast!!!!!!!!1

  • u sure we can put it in water?

  • @pokemon7258 yes,it is safe to put in water.Just make sure that isn't under longer than Two seconds(I wouldn't attempt any longer than that) and as long as the dye's are in the paper pretty good, the colors won't run, especially if the water is cold.So bassicly,it is safe, cold water, fully submerege with a rubber band,no more than Two seconds, and wait until it is completely dry (a day or so) and whatever you do,don't try to open it to soon (DONT TRY IT!!!)Hope this helped =)

  • i showed this to two relatives and they thought it was awsome!!!

  • can you make this by 8x8

  • If i used a 8 x grid and did the spiral, would it be a simplified(ist) version of this? what would happen? PLEASE RESPOND!

  • @PancakesOragami dosent work on a 8 by 8 grid cuz i tried it

  • What size paper do you reccomend?

  • Hey Jeremy is your origami court jester's wig considered a flasher? Also, do you think you will be giving a tutorial for the labyrinth flasher any time soon?

  • will u show easy flasher hat Please?

  • @origamista100 He already made 3 instruction videos on it. Look it up.

  • @Oridom66 He asked for the EASY flasher hat. Meaning it would be a 27x27 grid with easier folds. The flasher hat Jeremy showed us was the regular 32x32.

  • i have made the normal flasher but the end when squezing the the thing got me stuck

  • u said you'd never show us this

  • @flyingbracelets002 No, I said I'd never show you the biaxial flasher... a much much more difficult design whose crease pattern is published in my book Origami Ooh La La.

  • Nice tunes

  • i like everything exept the music! XD Good job!

  • @P0TAT0CHIPS0 Thanks! Re: music.... Well, ya can't please'm all! But you know, you could just turn off the sound.... you don't really need it to follow the video - several other origami channels forego sound altogether -- like those old silent films ... oh no nevermind...they had music. But at least I composed the background music myself... I'm no pro, but I try..

  • hi im andrik

  • hi im 10 years old and watch ur videos all the time

  • PLEASE CAN YOU MAKE A FLASHER SPINER???

  • i meant can the paper be square?

  • does the paper have to be square?

  • is the only difference between the supreme and the big bang the grid size?

  • I did it. I am 9 yrs old:)

  • @origamimaster4716 me too

  • Nice Jeremy!

  • can it be creased 8x8?

  • @spidera4 It can be, but you don't really see the spiral when it's 8X8.

  • @jeremyshaferorigami i made it 16X16 :)

  • That is awesome!

  • @chosenpokemonchamp Thanks!

  • @jeremyshaferorigami Np! Swiss army knife tutorial please?

  • Do a give away of this origami

  • @TheOrigamifolding I don't give away origami flashers, cause when people open them they tend to get bent out of shape, and unless you know how to fold the model you might not know how to push it back together. So I would need a 24-hour video technical support line!

  • sir jeremy can i buy it from you?

    mabuhay ka...

  • @joshua101901 alas I kinda need it for my shows!

  • What paper did you use to make the origami flasher big bang.

  • @BuyExoticOrigami For my finale piece I used Wyndstone Marble colored on side with permanent markers and laminated on the entire back side with clear tape.

  • Bout to buy ur book :D

  • @RareDude493 Thanks dude!

  • @jeremyshaferorigami lol btw i found the origami invisible duck the most useful XD

  • @jeremyshaferorigami i like you origami you are a genius i made this model yesturday

  • try to find the corn dog stand in the beginning

  • Hungry?

  • @jeremyshaferorigami Yeah,I had brunch instead of lunch and breakfast.

  • yay!i made your Origami Flasher Marble Maze

i found it really hard to make... -.-'

  • @ultraboy124 really? i found it very easy...

  • @ultraboy124 Congrats!

  • can you make a tutorial on how to make a flasher hat plz

  • @RareDude493 done!

  • Hi Jeremy I have the book this model is in and the video really helps in understanding it. I was wondering, you mention Wyndstone paper as being the ideal paper to make flashers with but I can't find any, could you tell me what exactly wyndstone paper is and where to get it?

  • Bravo.I could never do this but I'm amazed by yout patience and skill

  • my quest is to fold all the flashers, right now i have 6 in my collection, well they are all in your book origami to astonish and amuse XD, but i ordered origami oh la laa a few days ago and it contains new flashers that im very excited to fold! how much time does it take to get to israel?

  • i did it... I FINALLY FOLDED A FLASHER HAT! (from a 28 inch square) ITS AWESOME! I COMPLETED IT IN 20 HOURS AND 31 (LOL) MINUTES! XD I FINALLY MADE IT! NOW ITS TIME FOR THE FLASHER LABYRINTH

  • Mr Shafer Please make a hat tent tutorial and a flasher hat PLEASE :(((((

  • can you please make a video for the flasher big bang?

  • @RianKURT The flasher big bang is the same pattern as the flasher supreme, only more folds. Just divide the paper into 32 instead of 16.

  • @jeremyshaferorigami thanks man. i wil try to make that

  • This was amazing!

I did it to welcome my niece and she can't stop laughing.

Thank you so much for the tutorial :D!

  • It's So hard To make the origami like a circle any way how to fix it???

  • @denisegonzalespinto Were you able to make an the regular Flasher from my video "Fold a Flasher" ?

  • @jeremyshaferorigami Yupp.. The origami flasher :)?

  • i try to make the flasher big bang with a 30cm square paper it took me 3 day to make and i fail i can't close the model :(

  • @Jeffrey2735 Were you able to make the Flasher Supreme???

  • @jeremyshaferorigami yes i made it 3 times for my friend he really like it he said the creator was a genius

  • Hi, I have been a great fan of your origami for years now and I have just made this flasher, (currently waiting for it to dry) keep up with the good work!

  • i'm experienced if I can make the origami inoshishigami(divine boar)by satoshi kamyia without any problems?

  • Where can i find that book???

  • @Shin2901 Look in the video description for the link to amazon where you can buy the book. Thanks!

  • @jeremyshaferorigami can I use a different size paper a regular printer paper

  • Did yout paint the flasher big bang after you finished the folding? BTW it is awesome, great work!! I will try to make both flashers after I'm done with my exams:D

  • @MugiwaraHUN Yes I colored it after folding it. Before folding it, I laminated the whole back side with packing tape to make the paper more durable.

  • @jeremyshaferorigami Thanks for the quick answer! That packing tape trick sounds useful, but wasn't it harder to fold as with normal paper? I mean, did the taped paper behave a little else as normal paper, or was it all the same?

  • @MugiwaraHUN If I remember correctly... I put tape on one side and then folded the model, then I put it in water and dried it in the sun for a few days, then opened it wide (without flattening it) and finally painted the colored side and it closed it again. It might not spring closed as well as when I use no tape, but it springs closed enough for my needs and with the tape laminate it lasts so much longer!

  • @jeremyshaferorigami Thanks for the info! It is very helpful!

  • is your book just crease patterns or does it have diagrams too plz answer because i want to buy your book but am really bad at crease patterns :P

  • @sethcool24 Except for the most complex Flashers, which are just crease patterns, all of the models in my books are step-by-step diagrams. The Flasher hats are just crease patterns but I'm going to teach them step-by-step very soon on this channel.

  • @jeremyshaferorigami thanks :) love your creations!

  • Hmm... I can do this, but the center is always very crumpled and messy looking after the collapse. Any way to fix this?

  • @jonahrulez Yeah, me too :P

  • @jonahrulez The more tightly you wind it up at the start the less the paper will "creep," but some creep is inevitable. To avoid creeps altogether, you'd have to use a paper with zero thickness, and paper like that doesn't exist (and even if it did, you wouldn't be able to fold it!).

  • Bro you rock ur models are very astonishing

  • now make a flasher-supernova :D

  • what size of paper did you use for the flasher big bang at 0:16?

  • i made it!

  • I used a 5 7/8 in square piece of paper and made this and tried the flasher big bang and got it

  • @Origamimaster1397 Awesome! You really are an OrigamiMaster!

  • i folded this thanks!, now im on my way to make a flasher big bang from a 24 inch square, theese are a lot of zigzags im making!, hope i can finsh it soon! (C:

  • @mohammag That's great! Happy to hear it!

  • this is crazy!!!! :O it's really cool i liked it and i'm definitely gonna try this one

i'm totally astonished by the one you showed in the beginning :O, what's the size of the paper did you use? and most importantly how much time did it take???? :O :)

  • @TheMindofagenius1 Great! Let me know how it goes. I used a 15 inch square, but even a 10 inch square will work, and if you have tiny or extremely nimble fingers, you can try with a 6-inch square like Origamimaster1397 above.

  • if you made the spiral of mountain folds, does it matter in wich corner you start making the valley folds?

  • @hamsterboy959 Yes! You start the spiral of valley folds from the opposite corner that you started the spiral of valley folds. The spiral of valley folds goes right between the spiral of mountain folds.

  • could you use paper with a size of 12''x12"?

  • @origamifun217 Yes! I used 15"X15" kami, but it's even doable from a 10" square.

  • @jeremyshaferorigami ok, thank you a LOT! ;) keep up the good work!

  • What would be next video?

  • @joshovideos Haven't decided yet, but probably something simple from Ooh La La.

  • @jeremyshaferorigami how about the Finger Eater

  • @jeremyshaferorigami Can you make a tutorial on the tadpole finger puppet? Or the finger eater?

  • ohh you really scared me at 0:15 wow nice video betwen ! i'm definetely going to try it!

  • When you do make a flasher hat, I suggest the radial flasher hat.

  • @planteviews ???? I don't recall making a radial flasher hat! but it's a good idea... go for it! Make the Radial Flasher and then just make two circles of reverse folds and you're done!

  • @jeremyshaferorigami Sorry, I meant the Flasher Skimmer Hat. I already folded the Easy Flasher Hat.

  • Nice tutorial

  • Excellente! I didn't know about your channel, I came here because of jonakashima. This origami is awesome!!!! =D

  • @TheSade733 Thanks Sade733, Glad you like it!... and, Welcome!

  • what is the background music called

  • @Dragulia93 It's a medley of my improvisations I did using my Yamaha keyboard. The left hand controls the accompaniment while my right hand plays the melody. I just bought a mixer so I'm hoping to start getting more complex and polished compositions in the mix soon!

  • Awesome! Cool office btw #LOL
