I find this extremely interesting, unfortunately the speaker's heavy accent makes the talk difficult to understand. Subtitles would greatly enhance the experience. I have to keep replaying parts to make sure I understand exatly what he's talking about.

Ramachandran is extremely interesting, but he seems to be contrdicting himself: I get the impression that he has a limited understanding of understanding of not only art, but especially abstract art and modernism. He seems to have an ironic ethnocentrism about indian art. This guy would really interesting to talk to though!

@thedude69ification Rama actually gave this same speech on another Youtube video, and there he stresses repeatedly that the only reason for the Indian art is b/c that's what he's familiar with. Other than that, it's hard to say he has a limited understanding of abstract art. If only artists "got it", then it's not really art, is it?

irony is the presentation was so dull by a french about art. yes ramachandran has a very good charisma while he presents.
