  • freddy is the swagger of golf

  • even with his wedge it has that flush swoosh noise as he strikes the ball. gotta love freddy keep it up man.

  • @bobofthewood

Listen to the driver swing at :32. That's what clean sounds like (at least in the metal woods era).

  • Oh shit my computer accidently hit dislike when I was rewinding a part. Forgive me. I base my entire life on this swing.

  • @schauspieler23 Errr...um....wow is all i can say in response to "I base my entire life on this swing"....sounds like someone NEEDS a life

  • That is the sound of perfect impact, the ball hitting the exact sweetspot of the club!

  • man i love hearing 2:20

  • haha, he doesn't even need any gloves

  • I saw Freddy up close at the American Express Championships in San Francisco. Such a smooth grooved swing. His demeanor is so unhurried.

  • BOOM BOOM

  • :33. Go long way.

  • My favorite player! I love his swing and the sound it makes when he hits the ball!

  • love the sound of the bridgestone J33 driver nice solid and love the feedback it gives you, hit it on the sweet spot and get that soft feeling you get from blades, love Freddie's swing seems so effortless, to bad i cant replicate it, guess theirs only one Fred Couples.

  • i love golfing in the fall!

  • 2:20 really nice swing

  • I bet they were ready for a hot-buttered rum after those conditions. If you want to copy rythmn watch Freddie. His swing is pure poetry.

  • If this isnt a swing weekend warriors should mimic, there is not one out there... Gosh what a Great Beautiful swing...

  • This guy has the most beatiful swings.

  • looks like a public golf course with all the leaves

  • Sometimes I just come back here to worship. Is that wrong?

  • @emncaity not at all mate i do the same thing haha

  • @emncaity i do it too. very often.

  • frank nobilo watching at 1:04

  • Boom boom Freddy, hits a mile and makes it look so easy.

  • The view of his last swing is awesome. Now THAT'S how to swing a club.

  • Jeez....0:35 is just such a free-swinging motion it makes my eyes water.

  • where did u get the film from?

  • BUTTTTA

  • thank you there is almost nothing to see from Couples Swing Master

  • Wow..............reminds me of myself

  • ur ass wishes u were that good!

  • How could there be two--I mean three--of us?

  • i love his swing

  • i absolutley love freddy.

  • How does he make it look So easy, that is the one million dollar question!

  • i can watch that swing all day

  • How does he make this look so easy? Why haven't more golfers tried to copy his swing?

  • Love watching Freddie. Love this course too. Played it a couple of times.

  • Freddy is the best swing that ever was...period.

  • @pgatour74

    Hard to argue.

  • @pgatour74 visually its the most beautiful and rhythmical but u wouldnt teach it because technically there are so many things wrong. he is a lucky man!!

  • @anyhitchcock Why wouldnt you want to teach Freds swing? Teaching someone to use whatever works best for them and not just copy a swing because it may not work best for you. Alot of pga pros dont have technically sound swings but they know what works best for them and havent gone through life copying other people.

  • @bruizer1100 u kinda contradicted yourself, i wouldnt teach freds swing because its so natural and works for him, this means it might not work for everyone. if u are starting from scratch with no basis of knowledge or swing then u would go by the book allowing then for natural technique physique to take effect. but i would never go swing like freddie because only freddie can do that. i dont want to argue and u made a good point i hope u see my side also.

  • @anyhitchcock exactly right!

  • @anyhitchcock what's wrong with it?

  • @pgatour74 even in horrid conditions still looks nice

  • I forgot how miserable the weather was that day. I was caddying there

  • He's the man

  • Check out how smooth and silky his swing is at 6:35. Thanks for posting.

  • Gosh, do ya suppose he knows all the 958 correct positions according to this method, or that one, or the other one? I'll bet he could really play if he did. ;-)

  • Listen to that wind! He's got an advantage being from the Northwest. That weather is common up there.

  • this is what it was like for him growing up in the PNW.

  • it must have been really cold for them to wear beanies and gloves.

  • awesome - you rarely see this kind of raw video footage so thanks for sharing...great stuff

  • Wonderful vid; thanks for sharing!

  • You have to say that despite his back problems and putting woes Freddie's swing looks as good as it's ever has, a slightly shorter on the backswing and follow through, but still loaded with power. Any aspiring golfer should be made to watch this video several times a day!

  • Thx for posting Fred's adventures. its always

to see he is still active.

  • looked like some golf channel guys in the background at 1:10 to 1:15 : steve sands - frank nobilo.. even the media cant get enough of freddy's awesome swing

  • freddie's swing looks a little less sporty from his younger days. still the prettiest swing in all of golf.

  • Excellent cold weather Freddy action.

  • My swing starts feeling better just by watching him. Thank you for uploading this.

  • Getting ready for Tigers tournament?
