Il confine del 1954 è tecnicamente giusto ma certo poco naturale. Fortuna che oggi con l'ingresso della Slovenia nella UE i confini non esistono più e Trieste ha di nuovo il suo naturale hinterland.

@bluefab81 Una piccola considerazione però: nel centro di Trieste gli italiani sono sempre stati la maggioranza. È la campagna che era ed è a maggioranza slovena, ma parliamo di una quantità di popolazione molto inferiore rispetto a quella di Trieste città. Il confine del 1954 è tecnicamente giusto ma certo poco naturale. Fortuna che oggi con l'ingresso della Slovenia nella UE i confini non esistono più e Trieste ha di nuovo il suo naturale hinterland.

@TheBlackdago Illustrissimo storico, Volevo intendere che gran parte della città di Trieste... nello specifico le zone oggi più popolate come..Valmaura, Borgo S. Sergio, S. Anna e Cattinara, erano zone in cui tutti gli abitanti autoctoni parlavano lo sloveno.. poi negli anni 50 si sono dovute costruire case popolari in quelle zone per permettere ai connazionali provenienti da città italiane distanti 1200 km di poter abitare a Trieste perchè qui hanno ottenuto cariche statali

Sai , le case in Italia si sono dovute costruire anche per gli ESULI che vivevano nella zona di Trieste b o dell Istria ... le case sono state costruite anche dagli Austro Ungarici ed erano per gli slavi che venivano deportati in zone a maggioranza italiana e italofona . Sono state costruite case anche per i profughi dell ex yugoslavia . In Italia costruire case non è un reato , noi non siamo mica come gli sloveni, che provano a far passare leggi per impedire agli italiani di avere immobili
