Possibly a very very far ancestral link......Moreska cannot be compared with it in any way except for that far ancestry, and the I suppose only in name...... Morris could have derived from Moorish the same way as Moreska is.... I think all similarity stops there........
I can see some similarities in the stick clashing moves. (There's some evidence that early English morris dances were circular sets rather than the longways sets we see today)
