  • Thxs for posting this! My twins have been exclusively breastfed so am just now starting the sprayer. What do u do with your wipes? Do I spray those too or just wash as usual?

  • Thx for this video. I've read about diaper sprayers but I needed this video as a reference. The knee trick looks like its a nifty trick!

  • OMG thank you for posting this. My LO just started on solids this weeks and I have been terrible with the sprayer! I was doing what your hubby does. I will definitely do it your way next diaper- so much better!!!

  • @Clothmom1 So glad you are able to use this video! :) We have been doing this for A LONG TIME.. WELL ME.. My husband wont do it for some reason..LOL

  • Nifty little trick with holding the diaper with your knee. We spray ours off in the tub right now (it's easier and we don't have to worry about over spray,), but her poop isn't very solid just yet, and she's not taking baths in the tub yet either. I was wondering how other people actually used it in the toilet without making a major mess. Thanks for sharing your strategy! :)

  • @1981Celesse Your very welcome.. Britney

  • I can't believe it's taken me this long (a year of cloth diapering) to think of searching Youtube for a video on using a diaper sprayer! Super helpful; I am trying to decide whether to get one and was wondering if the water sprayed back everywhere/how to avoid that! Thanks!

  • Thanks for this informative vlog!

  • TY for sharing

  • It looks like that cow print one is one i've seen on ebay. If so how are you liking them? I've been cloth diapering for a few weeks now. At this rate I don't think I will ever spend over $10 on a diaper. I love them so far! BTW I only have cheap ebay diapers.. What is you're comparison?

  • @08sarahrangel I got the cow print from Lovely Pocket diapers.com. They are awesome ..

BUT I do believe alot of the cheap brands come from one big manufacture and smaller companies sell them for a profit.

  • im thinking about cloth diapering and i have a question. do you rinse off the diaper right after you change your baby or do you put them in a pail? how do you do it? thanks!

  • @AubreysMom2010 We rinse the diaper usually right after. You don't want to put it in the pail without rinsing cause then you will have to dig it out. Yuck.

  • We put ours directly into the wash , poop and all and they always come out clean. But we have a special diaper cycle on our machine that we do before the wash and use rockin green and rinse twice. Great video

  • @circe3930 Diaper CYCLE?? HOW AWESOME.. Do you have a video on that.. I'd love to see your machine.. Man lucky YOU!!! :-)

  • Thanks! I'm gonna try it your way and maybe keep things a little dryer!

  • @madamj2000 Your welcome, Hope it helps.

  • I wish so badly that I could use a diaper sprayer but I am stationed in Germany with the military and it does not hook up to the type of toilets they use here :(

  • @meggyloo22 Can you go to a Home Depot/Lowe's type of store and find something you can hook to your bathroom sink and then have the cord long enough to reach the toilet? OR even a shower head that detaches?? We tried that before but ours wasn't long enough

  • Thank you so much for this video. I will definitely be getting a diaper sprayer! It so hard to find a video were they actually use a dirty diaper!!!!

  • @NewMomMae2011 I think using a dirty diaper is key.. Everyone that has a kid WILL SEE POOP>>lol And now you are able to see what happens and how it happens. :)

  • I do mine sort of the same, but I wring my diapers after spraying before dumping into the diaper pail.

  • @dsugartwist I really do THINK about doing that,then I change my mind..LOL

  • Thank you so much for showing us how to effectively use the diaper sprayer. I was wondering how it would be able to be done without spraying everywhere. I can't wait to use it in about 35 weeks when my little one is born :)

  • @nitegal YAY, im glad you are able to get use out of this video.. :) I was worried about ppl's response to the POOP, BUT you will have to handle the same stuff.. SOON..lol Good luck. What diapers are you going to be using?

  • @MBShrewsbury .....Poop is a fact of life, so it doesn't bother me. Everyone does it, everyone looks at it (even if they deny it)...haha I am having complications right now, but if all goes well, we plan on using the Fuzzi Bunz diapers. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about them. Plus, we have a local store that sells them for a pretty good price, so we want to do those. :)

  • I'v been doing it like how your hubby does it.... I am going to try your way so it doesnt spray out at all! Thanks!

  • @00babyluv00 Yeah I get so mad at my husband .. It gets everywhere. The toilet paper gets wet, the floor the seat etc. Good LUCK!

  • Great video!! We bought a diaper sprayer & can't connect it to our pipes here at our apt :[ hopefully when we move we can use it!

  • @TheOrtonsLife Thank you.. Since we moved our pressure has gone down MAJORLY so we might have to go buy some new parts.. SUCKS!!! But like I told another mom, making trying to find something you can hook to your sink and spray over in the toilet? Or a detachable shower head?

  • FINALLY! Someone actually shows how to use the dang diaper sprayer on a poopy diaper. Now I'm definitely going to buy one because it's much better than my method, which is swishing it in the toilet and getting icky hands. Thanks so much!

  • @ArmindaHeart YAY!!! Im soo glad you go helpful information about this.. :) Hope it works for you!!! :) Yeah, NO for icky hands. :(

  • thanks! for such a researcher, I really hadn't learned how to use that properly, so I had been using liners. But on the occasion that my lovebug poo'ed off schedule, I have made some horrendous messes, I-P now I am equipped with new knowledge!!

  • @ChocolateVanillaBean Your welcome.. Hope this helps for the "Off schedule times" lol.. ;-)

  • Great video!! But yikes I don't even put my pressure up that high and I always seem to spray everywhere LOL and I use the same type of method that you do haha!

  • @smleblanc1 Yours may be higher than ours. lol I don't know, But i couldn't imagine water pressure being any higher than that..lol

  • This is pretty helpful thank you! I'll be starting CDing with my first in just a few weeks so any easy ideas are great !

  • @Vee0705 UR WeLCOME. AND GOOD LUCK!

  • Do you spray after each diaper change when you're at home or at the end of each day?

  • @walkingprincess We usually spray at the end of each day. We aren't home during the day M-F so when we get home we might have 1-2 poop diapers and we just do it then.

  • :-) your way seems much more effective !!!
