  • @ThePopsheep hahaha i know i hate thinking about that.

  • I am actually embarrased for him,

  • You see kids, this is what cocaine make you do-

    so stick to pot.

  • I love Gilmour but i just had to laugh at how cheesy this is! lol

  • ......at least it wasn't dave dancing.

  • Crappy Video, awesome song. I saw him do it live in Montreal, he was great.

  • HA! I love gilmour but what the hell is up with this video???? those dancers on 0:36 thru 0:43 reminds me of a 80's soft drink commercial. Oh well this video was from 1984 and at that time videos were still fairly a new thing.

  • interesting video, gay dancers, but love Gilmour in it, 3:41 ... effin sexy

  • Damn it Gilmour.. wtf is this? So much cocaine....

  • Did Storm Thorgerson actually do this video? He must have swallowed the cool aid. Did he think he was filming an episode of Miami Vice?

  • Well it appears the 80's were a rough time for everyone haha. Thank god he grew out of this phase

  • Am i the only one who likes the horns????

  • Is it wrong of me to laugh at this video. I mean lord knows, David Gilmour is GOD at the guitar, but gawd damn, this video SUCKS!

  • Same Horn section that ruined Geneis around the same time. Producers were out of their mind back then....

  • I'm having the feeling EMI had more a say so in this than Dave. Reminds me too much of some of the "stuff" they (EMI) had out back then.

    Poor David o.0

  • I'm glad I didn't see this back in the 80s, it is pretty appalling. Definitely not one of Storm Thorgerson and Hipgnosis' better moments (they do all the videos for Floyd, as well as the album covers). They clearly tried too hard to make something that would match a pop song, therein lies the problem. Of course, this is David Gilmour's album and song, how much input he had in this only they know.

  • se escucha clavado de run like hell, el sonido es ochentero y muy moderno, pero a quien le importa, es David Gilmur xD |..|,

  • This proves the best thing that came out of the 80's was ghostbusters. Because it sure as shit wasnt this! I love gilmour (I even have his relic strat) but this whole album was garbage.

  • i wouldn't say the whole album was garbage, lets get metaphysical and near the end were good pieces, but i tend to agree, he was in a midlife crisis i think when he did this....

  • On In the Studio with Redbeard while discussing On an Island (I have the interview up it is Segment 2 where he talked about the About Face album after All Lovers Are Deranged was played) he said About Face had some great moments but the flavor of the album is too 80s for his current liking and was trying to deliberately shy away from the Pink Floyd sound. I actually like all three of David's solo albums equally and proved he is the voice and guitar of Pink Floyd. Plus was the musical brain.

  • oh shit dave ...... I'm happy that you grown

  • jesus what was that all about?!

  • what a profoundly unfortunate video for a decent song
