Just found this video for the first time on YouTube. I was there that night by accident. I happened to walk by as they were filming (St. Mark's Place). It was around 6:00 pm on a summer evening in the East Village and everyone was coming home from work. It felt like the whole town was all huge Rolling Stones fans, and everyone came running over and stood and watched for what seemed like a couple of hours, with the song playing over and over on the street as they were filming the video.
