  • I just had another go, using basically your technique Pwner, and almost 100%ed it...only a phoenix and a balrog got through in the last round. Cheers for bein awesome.

  • Niiiiice.

  • i have no clue how to beat wave 37

  • r those green coloured poison towers??

  • Thanks, I'll have to retry to get 100% sometimes using what you've told me! If I get 100% I'll post it for sure, Idk when that'll be though.

  • As before, Frost Novaing the Balrog when he phases is important, especially when he's passing through your towers. The Demon Lord at the end gets pwned by assassination towers, so I never had problems with him.

But thanks again Pwner. I had completely ignored the assets of Booster towers before I saw your video, and that made the difference.

  • Then there's the last wave. I had problems with 3 units here: the Succubus and Balrog obviously, but also Archimonde for some reason, even though he's a far earlier boss. I think the reason Archimonde was such a pain is because every time he changes form he breaks his crowd control, and the towers are so caught up in other units he tends to slip through. Separation is very important here. Make sure those units are slowed to the point where the other weaker units have passed.

  • This strategy works pretty flawlessly up until the last 3 waves. The Succubi and Balrogs can cause quite a hassle, and persistence with Jaina's attacks, and especially Frost Nova, helps. Especially with Balrogs, every time they phased I used Frost Nova, as not only is that the only thing that can hit them in that form, but it slows down their progress.

  • Anyway, one big different thing I did from this strategy was use assassination towers in the late game. I used Jaina's FIre Strike ability to clear a path in the very middle of the map, because the long range of the assassination towers means that putting them there, it can pretty much fire across the entirety of the map.

  • I got 100 finally...I've never posted a video before or else I would.

Basically I built it off of two choke points: The first being that first L past the gate, and the second (and most important) being the 'n' shaped formation closer to the end, because one tower covers so much ground in that spot. Jaina is important, as destroying the trees helps free up a lot of space, especially in the 'n' formation.

  • Nice... I beat this TD yesterday as well, but at the end I let lots of creeps passing (ended up with 23 lives I think).

Gonna try to make a perfect score sometime. One thing that I noticed is that you let lots of items in the ground there. Maybe selling them for an extra gold could be a good one.

  • @Grimmjowjaguarjack I'll try it. I've still not gotten 100% my best is 84%. If you get 100% please post a replay :D

  • I kinda built off your Theory, I bought the hero at lvl 3, but I like agility heroes because of the speed at which they attack, not to mention the chance of criticals are amazing. Basically once I could buy the cold towers, I set them up around the entire map so my enemies were basically walking slowly the whole time. until about lvl 43 I hadn't lost a single life, but then it started to catch up to me, I actually made it to lvl 49 mainly using cold towers and my hero

  • @Joshjag1989 Nice. I use Jaina for her frost nova but I see your point, faster attacks probably help more. I'll have to try again soon haha =]

  • Nice...I started playing TD recently and I can't get past 44 for the life of me, but I definitely like the strategy, I'll have to give it a try.

  • @NekoSOM Thanks! if you figure out how to get 100% please let me know.
