The last throwing knife he "throws" at the chopper drops to the ground with his dead body. In MW2, multiple people could get credit for killing a helicopter. Seeing as how the throwing knife was on the ground next to his body. He didn't take it down.

I had something similar to this on Black Ops awhile back. They called in a cobra, so I threw a tomahawk at it and destroyed it. Your was much more impressive since it was a moving target and it was controlled by an actual player.
