Awsome, thanks. The first vid illustrated it nicely....never got notified on that one. How's that trex hold up? I've thought about using it for road pads on my track loader.
I used continuous hinge and timber tech decking material but I think I'm going to replace it with square tubing. I cut the hinge and screwed it to the decking material then made a tooth out of 1x2 rectangular tube and then welded it to the hinge.
It appears the road wheels are flexing a little when you turn. It might be a problem you need to look into before you put a lot of sideload on them in the dirt or on asphalt. Also CNC has a good point about the loose track.
The wheels do flex a bit but I hope they will hold their own when it comes to dirt and uneven ground. The track is a problem I left a trail of screws from start to end point. I have decided to use square tube to replace the timber tech.
Sweeeet! Very smoother hydraulic actuation! Should be awesome on the PB fields. Looks like the drive sprocket engages the tracks quite well, even thought it looks like the track could use a bit more tension on it. Very nice.
Looking good! I can't wait to see it with some skin on it!

@8MADJACK
Not worth a damn, during the test run I left a trail of screws from one end of the shop to the other. I think the trex is just too brittle

Very nice. Is the continuous hinge like piano hinge? I gotta check the 1st vid to see if there is a better view :-)

@8MADJACK
yeah it's basically piano hinge the stuff I used is 14 gauge with an open width of 2-1/2" and a 1/4" pin.
