I think God could have put life wherever He wanted to. I don't believe He put intelligent life on other worlds as Eve is the mother of all living. But what do you call life? If God put bacterial or viral forms on another world I do not believe those forms really are "life" in the truest form and so Satan could plant these forms on other planets to be part of the grand deception.

Our relatively young planet, in an out-of-the-way arm of a relatively young galaxy has life. It's no great leap to posit that there are millions, if not billions of other life-bearing planets in our galaxy alone. The potential for life in the billions of other galaxies is astronomical.

As with all Christian arguements, however, it is predicated on the accuracy and truth of the Bible. If the Bible is thrown out as invalid, then the entire argument collapses. the thing that gets me about scientists is that they always discover something new and then come up with another theory about evolution, planets etc and they do this because they don't know for certain and most disagree with each others theory. so i take what they say with a pinch of salt. i would think there has to be others out there somewhere but wouldn't we have definitive proof by now.

I think God could have put life wherever He wanted to. I don't believe He put intelligent life on other worlds as Eve is the mother of all living. But what do you call life? If God put bacterial or viral forms on another world I do not believe those forms really are "life" in the truest form and so Satan could plant these forms on other planets to be part of the grand deception.

You seem to be confusing the bible and creationist beliefs with science. The bible was written by many relatively primitive men over many years. These men, although morally wise, had no scientific knowledge.
Our relatively young planet, in an out-of-the-way arm of a relatively young galaxy has life. It's no great leap to posit that there are millions, if not billions of other life-bearing planets in our galaxy alone. The potential for life in the billions of other galaxies is astronomical.

As with all Christian arguements, however, it is predicated on the accuracy and truth of the Bible. If the Bible is thrown out as invalid, then the entire argument collapses. Every arguement the narrator makes quotes scripture, but if this was made for a general audience, they are not necessarily going to accept the Bible as truth at face value.

The trick is being just vague enough that just about any related event can be rendered to have fulfilled "prophecy". How may saw Stalin or Hitler as the antichrist because they did many things that were foretold to be the work of the antichrist? If I say I went down to the White House on 1600 Pennsylvania to purchase a gram of crack, there is indeed a White House at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., but not being a crack user, the entire statement is rendered false. No doubt some of the Bible is indeed true, but using it as a sole source of truth inherently weakens an arguement.

@iHymn There were three types of people who were involved in the account of the great flood: those who perished in the flood, then there were those who were preserved through the flood (Noah and his family) and there were those who were REMOVED before the flood. Look into the career of Enoch. He's mentioned in Genesis 5 and then later in the book of Jude. The same three types of groups will be involved during the great tribulation period.

Problem with religious explanations is that they are all predicated on the Bible being a factual source of information which is far from proven. While much of the historical detail in times and places and historical figures has proven to be accurate, but to assert that it is the true "Word of God" is something of a stretch.

Sin and choices just a matter of making a mistake that you know was a mistake even though it was a taught sin and then "learning" from it. Our society would not be as advanced as it is without someone doing something that was not sinful. If I was a God, not of course, I would make the universe self perpetuating and be like a chain reaction which would have an obvious outcome(s) that could be predicted. Mathematical predictability. He is referring to 2 seperate events as being 1. The emerging of the universe (considered an enormous co-incidence) and life within this observed universe (more a rule than an exception). That prevents me from even considering to watch this series.

What you don't see is that you're in danger of falling into the same condemnation as the devil. You don't ascend above God. Why even consider it? The Biblical God, Christ, is obviously the highest known God, so even if there were others like Him, what's the point in fighting Him? The natural law of the universe is God's law, which is Love.

First of all the biblical god is not christ... christ is the SON of god. And he is not the highest known god. Last I checked, Christianity is only the 3rd or 4th biggest religion in the world, which means there are 3 or 4 gods above the christian god. But none of them actually exist. Religion is used to brainwash societies and give power to churches, governments, monarchies, etc.

Funny, the muslim god Allah says the same thing. So do all the other gods. You only believe in Christ because everyone around you does. If you grew up in Afghanistan you'd probably believe in Allah, and you'd feel just as strongly about his existance as you do now about YAH or Christ or whoever. I've wondered about that. It's possible I suppose. The internet rumor mill is full of stories about evidence of past civilizations on the moon as well as Mars and lately, they've been talking about some inhabited planet called Nibiru that's in some kind of weird orbit that will come close to us in 2012. Who knows?

This video makes some good points, but it fails to address the simple fact that just because we can't explain something, doesn't mean that god HAD to be involved. A lack of evidence for evolution does not prove the existence of god. An evolutionist could do the same thing and say, well, we have no proof that god created the universe, so evolution must be correct. That's wrong too., We're just little humans- we know nothing about this universe, whatsoever.
