The only female vocals who I consider to be comparable are Melissa Etheridge, Sarah McLachlan and from more modern times Kelly Clarkson or Pink.
I was in Warsaw, Poland 2 weekends ago visiting a friend (ask her bass player, I was the guy from England) and we saw Camille playing with her band and I thought they are just too good to be in this hotel bar....but hey sometimes you get the breaks and other times you don't.
I have to agree with the majority of the comments on this page. I spent nearly 10 years in the music business working for Warner Bros and in all that time did hear a female vocal as good - live.
I love Kristy Thirsk! Her performance of "At The Border" from her first solo CD is brilliant. She's a great live performer & she has one of the sweetest pair brown eyes on a woman ever.

Kristy Thirsk has such an amazing voice. Her vocals on various Delerium albums are nothing short of spectacular.
