@CrazyBee888 When you look at a painting right side up the mind tends to focus more on what's what, this is the eyes, this is the nose etc instead of making your painting look like the reference you are drawing what you're more commonly used to drawing IE Instead of drawing the eye in the painting the right way by just drawing what you see you focus on drawing an eye that you are more used to. It was in this book I read but I think I misinterpreted it.

The reason it's upside down is for making it a complicated form to use the left side of the brain with it. So oblies the right (artistic) side of the brain to work. Not needed sometimes depending on the artist. It very much makes it easier for most people.
