Doesn't the baton lady (drum major?) 0:44 bungle that one movement? I don't think that these kinds of fancy dress parades are a major emphasis of the IDF. Actually most of these performers seem stiff & self conscious.
@AliceVladimiro it is "sunrise, sunset" from Fiddler on the Roof. after "if i were a rich man"(also Fiddler on the Roof) is the song
"on Silvery Wings" by Naomi Shemer" who also composed and sang "Jerusalem Of Gold" and added a new verse after the 6 Day War when Jerusalem was unified and in ISRAELI hands. jordan lost the west bank and all of Jerusalem to us,egypt lost the gaza, and syria lost the golan.the whole arab league against us and they lost it all from their aggression.
@sayeretmatkal17021 thanx a lot! i didn't recognize 'sunrise sunset', they make it sound much more happy))) and after 'if i were a rich man' goes מחר, i believe
@sloopwych47 a U.S. naval band was at VICTORY DAY 7 MAY 2010(first time ever and first time for U.S. anything since Eisenhower stood on Kremlin Wall reviewing stand with stalin and reviewed Rossiyan troops and Field Marshal Zhukov on his horse and that was 1945 july), they were not at this.
@MarkSynthesis Your comment is appreciated and my comment was made before a U.S. appearance, the U.S.,along with the British and French, also participated for the first time in a 9 May Victory Parade. in 1945, General Eisenhower stood with Stalin(Steel,Dzhugozhavili was his original name and he was Georgian), and watched Field Marshal Zhukov and the Red Army.
@MarkSynthesis this comment was made before the U.S. finally appeared.they also appeared with the British and French in a 9 May Victory Day Parade. General Eisenhower did appear alongside Stalin(changed to Steel, was a Georgian and original name was Dzhugozhavili) on the Kremlin wall in 1945 July when he observed Field Marshal Zhukov and the Red Army. President Eisenhower(except for USAF secret U2 embarrasment disaster) maintained a good relationship with Kruschev.
@sayeretmatkal17021 I'm familiar with the Victory Day parade (Polish soldiers also marched in it, and did not again until 2010, I think, when other allies were invited). Obviously, it's a different event, but I see your point.
Long live Israel! Long live TSAHAL.

Stick to fighting IDF. This spit and polish stuff isn't your forte. Anyway, the Russians didn't exactly give you a warm welcome.
