Actually, using a pick kills off any of the punk sound, trust me it makes a huge difference.

hm I wouldnt say so, everyone plays and likes different kinds of playing an instrument, I prefer playing with a pick because I love playing pop-punk and stuff like that, slaps and pops are really cool and I'm able to do them but it isn't a lot of fun to me :P
