I didn't HATE the annotations, I found them very comical :D It was just kind of hard to focus on them and your tips xD So I suggest either commentating your tips and keep the annotations, or inviting some friends over and have them be as weird as your annotations :P Otherwise, great video like always

When I cut his tail off, the sword landed on 1 of those walls, like on 1 of the parts sticking out, i attempted to get it for 20 minutes but just couldn't get there. fuck.

Doh!! Typed too many words!! I was saying that the best armour I found for this is all Palladin for its high curse resist, except for the legs...... Painted/Painting skirt has higher curse resist stats. It's also a very smart looking outfit..... I kept it on after that battle... :-)

Hey champ, I would have much preferred listening to ten minutes of (boring as you referred.....not me!! I love it) commentary rather than that music!! I found it a bit too overwhelming & hardcore after awhile!! I love the Seath battle....... it's one of the few if only bosses in the game where you don't have to worry about "targeting" him all the time & running sideways in circles forever and a day!! You can just keep chasing those tails and give them some constant whacking!!

I hate Seath. So annoying trying to get the tail, super fast, as big as a damn house and you need to hit the tip of the tail, which is always hidden inside a wall.

@BloodyBloodPeker the shield is crystal ring shield. you need soul of the moonlight butterfly (from mini boss at darkroot) and a +10 shield. giant blacksmith at anor londo crafts it.

He has good curse resistance because of mixed armor. Ornstein's chest, gold-hemmered hood(?) and especially anitquated skirt (?), i guess.

Dunno what I think about the humorous commentary. Some of it was funny, but some was just distracting. Your annotated tips for the actual fight, however, are fantastic, solid, concrete advice that addresses a lot of the problems I was having.

With patch 1.05 out don't tail-cutoffs automatically go into your inventory? I know they did for the Gargoyle Tail Axe and the Drake Sword. But would that also count for the Moonlit Greatsword?

I am probably the only person ever who thinks pinwheel isn't a total walkover. I fought him right after the taurus demon though because I had no idea where to go, so I entered the catacombs. Still didn't die though.

Not really. Moonlight Butterfly was easier by far. I killed it in four hits with a +4 Black Knight Sword.

@RobertSilvermyst I agree. Butterfly was super easy as long as you have some sort of projectile. I like to save him for last then kill him in 1 shot with a powerful pyromancy. xD

Personally, the tips that you give are cool but the little side conversations you do with the annotations are just annoying.. im trying to watch the video and all i see are these annotations popping left and right all over the screen. Really annoying imo.

Ir's the attack of the shield I have equipped. Crystal ring shield obtained from the Moonlight butterfly's soul and a +10 shield.

Yes. He will show the ability to upgrade it like any other boss weapon. I am not sure if it works with every single shield, I just upgraded a pretty weak leather shield or something that requires the least upgrade stones. I am still trying to figure out all the kinks of this shield, as it seems to stack differently with different weapons. Also not sure if elements are carried over to the shield damage.

All I can think of is that maybe you are not hitting close enough to the tip. This was my biggest problem the first time I fought him. I died so many times almost killing him from hits to the tail, only to discover it did not count. It is only a small part that actually counts as hits against his tail. Also, make sure you are at least doing 100+ damage to it. Fire weapons will doe the best damage.

Half gold-hemmed, the chest armor is part of Ornstein's armor, which you can buy if you kill him last. His armor looks totally badass! Dusk's skirt, because it is rediculously OP for that weight and high curse resistance.

This is the shield you can forge from the Moonlight Butterfly's soul. It does damage determined by the weapon you have equipped in your other hand, so if you have this spear you will hit for the same amount! Forge it from a +10 shield at the giant smith once you reach Anor Londo.
