Hello, my hands dont hurt or anything, but I have been diagnosed now for years. I was undiagnosed for years before that and have been suffering from the effects for about 8 years now. My parvo pain really never goes away. There are good days, but the bad days are really bad. My knees are always painful and the last 3 days have been horrible with pain in my shoulders and elbows, like never before. I am on pills for lupus, not for lupus but for the parvo, I don't think I will ever feel better...
@wordlifeheel I'm so sorry to hear that! As far as I know, it's not deadly - I'm still here :) You just need to rest and keep an eye on how you feel. If you start to feel worse, you should go back & visit your Dr. I will say that it's been about 18 months since I first came down with the symptoms and although I do get some bad days, I am having more good days. Please try not to worry and do take care!
@gypsysoulcreations Thank you so much. I was told by my doctor on the phone after I got back from the pharmacy, so she wrote me up some pills to take. So hopefully it will go away after I take 2 weeks worth of those pills. But thanks for the comforting advice.
i have Human Parvo.. when i was in 3rd grade the pain in my joints got so bad i couldnt walk.. i went to 7 doctors and 3 hospitals before they could diagnose me.
I just wanted to let you know this is the ONLY true info. I've heard on Parvovirus. I was diagnosed about 3 years ago. I truly thank you for your video. I thought that "oh, the pain is all in my head", no it's REAL!! I wish more info was out there. I just happened to come across you website. I can't use my hands most of the time because of the severe pain, and in my job (Pharmacy Tech) that's not good. I would so like to talk with you!! I live on the Eastside, so please contact me. Karen
I just got diagnosed with this last week after 8 months of searching for what was making me sick. I woke up with extreme pain in my neck one morning, then got horrendous stomach pain, a sore throat, a low grade fever, and swollen lymph nodes under my chin and behind my neck. I am ridiculously tired all the time, and in so much pain. I still have low grade fevers almost daily. I can barely work or take care of my 5 year old. I'd love to chat for support. Drop me a line sometime.
i was pregant and got parvo b 19 and it effected my unborn baby... i was told he had fliud in in tummy and lungs and would not live... but if he did he would have health probs.... he was born june 2,09 his tummy was a big ballon... and his liver and slpen are big... he needs o2.... but hes here.. he had a tube put in his tummy to bring out fliud... hes now a big 11 month old... just wanted to share my storie.
Hi! I am going through the same thing. It's mostly my neck, shoulders and fingers. I believe it started in January 2010. I thought I had arthritis, until I went to the doctor and had bloodwork done and found out about the parvo. I thought i heard you mention "students". Are you a teacher? I teach elementary age students. By the end of the day of teaching, I am in terrible pain. The only thing that seems to help is to lie in bed with an heating pad.
Hello there :) I'm so sorry to hear that you are also suffering from parvo! I am a mixed media artist & I also teach (mostly adults) I haven't been able to teach since the beg of feb this year - I miss it terribly! I wish you all the best & I hope you will find more relief soon. Take good care!
Thank you so much for your story. I knew the symptoms of parovirus very good. It was hard to find help and I hope you will feel better faster than me. Get well soon!
Wow, I have never heard of this. But I am very thankful that you are informing others. Wish you the best and keep the information coming. Can't wait to see some more of your work. TFS :)
I really hope you're feeling better soon. It sounds like you have a wonderful doctor and understanding friends and family. Thanks for the education! I've never heard of such a thing!
What a horrible frustrating experience for you. I was on a steroid for about five days after a bad asthma attack and it was not a good experience as I normally take no prescription medications. I am huge believer in natural products. Fenugreek and Pau D'Arco are a couple things that really work for me. I will join will the many others who are praying for your quick recovery! God Bless!
Thank You for sharing so much. I have an auto-immune disease as well where I am losing my hair in patches, and it attacks your joints as well so I know what you are going through. I so hope that you feel better soon, I really enjoy your how-to's and art. Take Care, Hugs, Karen :)

Hi Sarah.
I shared with you on your blog about my bout with Parvo and how it set my immune system off into developing RA.
I'm so sorry it has hit you again! The steroids do help a bit. I tend to turn into a pms monster with them. :)
I really, really hope you start to feel better sweetie!
blessings and hugs,
